Chapter 4

(Y/n)'s POV

While I'm walking around. I saw my mother and father to a big house and it looks really rich. My parents are talking to a man and a woman in there 30's. I approach them.

"Mom? Dad?"-me

They look at me.

"Oh hey (Y/n) what are you doing here?"-dad

"I am just walking around to our new place."-me

"You should walk around here with your bodyguards since there's so many poor people here. They may touch you or steal things from you."-dad

"No dad it's ok!"-me

Dad look at me.

"No I can't let you walk alone in this place. There are so many poor people here. What if they kidnap you and ask for money. I don't want that to happen."-dad

"No dad! I'm promise it's ok! I don't need a bodyguard I can walk by myself. And it seems all people in this place are nice and kind."-me

"(Y/n) don't disobey me. I want you to go with your bodyguards when you are walking around. Just listen to me ok. Don't make me mad. I don't like those poor people in here. They just want our money."-dad

I sigh.

"Ok dad fine!"-me

"Good! Where are your bodyguards?"-dad

"They're in our house."-me

"Stay here with us ok?"-dad

I just nodded my head.

We go home to our house. I go to my room and lay on my bed. Why they keep doing this? They just care about money and everything.

"Nanny, did you already made dinner for us?"-daddy

"Yes sir!"-Nanny

"Go take our dinner now because we are really hungry."-daddy

"Ok sir!"-Nanny

I sit on the chair. I wish we are poor. The maids served our dinner and We started eating. After we ate, I was about to put my plate in the sink when my dad stop me.

"(Y/n), just let the maids put your plate in the sink. Now go to your room and sleep ok?"-dad

"O-ok dad!"-me

I go to my room, I shower first before I go to bed and sleep.

It's 11 pm but I still can't sleep. I decided to sneak out and get some fresh air outside. I get out of our house and sat at the bench nearby. I sit down on the bench. While I'm sitting at the bench, I feel someone sat beside me. I look who is it and I see the cute guy named Xinlong sitting beside me. He look at me and he got surprised.

"Oh (Y/n), it's 11 pm now, why are you still outside?"-Xinlong

"I can't sleep!"-me

"Oh!"-Xinlong

"Yeah!"-me

And it got silence, after a few minutes, Xinlong start talking.

"Uhm (Y/n), since your new here. Can I be your friend?"-Xinlong

I smile widely.

"Of course Xinlong you can be my friend."-me

We started getting to know each other. He said her mother is just working as a nanny in America. While his father is working as a janitor in the school.

"Your life is pretty cool. I wish my life was like yours."-me

He look at me.

"Why do you wish to have a life like mine? You're life is really fine, you're rich and you're family owns a lot of big companies."-Xinlong

"I know, but that's not the life I want. All I want is for my mother and father to give some love and attention to me."-me

Xinlong patted my back.

"I feel bad for you. But that's ok! I'm here, I will be your new friend. I will be here always for you if you need me."-Xinlong

I smile and nodded to him.

"Thank you Xinlong!"-me

"You're welcome (Y/n)!"-Xinlong

I stand up and decided to go inside of our house.

"Good night Xinlong, thanks for listening to me. And I hope I'll see you tomorrow."-me

"Yeah I hope too!"-Xinlong

He smiled sweetly. I smile at him too and walk inside the house.
