(I spell friend wrong on purpose)

I was on my way to steak and shake for my shift, when I got a call from my landlord. I answered.  "Hello" "Yes is this Ivory Devyn?" I replied with a quick "yes." He gave a quick sigh and said "look I know you said it would be difficult to pay rent on time but if you don't pay within the next week I'm going to have to evict you."  I park in the back of steak and shake and hit my head on the steering wheel. "Are you sure I can't have an extra week?" " no Ivory I need the money by next week or you're out... sorry Ivory." "No it's fine I'll try and get my paycheck early. I'll call you tomorrow." "Bye."

I looked next to me and there he was again. "Caleb?" "Yes?" "What are we going to do" I replied. He gave me a sympathetic look and he was gone. Caleb is my "freind" no one else can see him.

I unbuckled and ran inside grabbed my hat and apron and got to work. I do the milkshakes. Today was pretty boring so I'll skip this part of the story.

I got back into my car and started to drive "Ivory?" Caleb asked. I looked at him for a split second and then back to the road "yes Caleb?"  "Why are you the only one who sees me?" He inquired. "The doctors say I'm ill in the brain and that you're only a figment if my imagination." I said sadly. "But I'm real Ivory, you know that right?"  "Ivy?" I didn't answer and he disappeared again. He does that when he's mad or sad or bored.

Once Caleb told me he thought I was pretty and then disappeared. I wanted to tell him that I liked him. More like love him. Caleb told me he's a ghost. He doesn't know why I can see him. He told me he's only met one other person who could see him. But they didn't live long. The doctors said he had committed suicide, but Caleb thinks I'm different.

A/N: so basically Caleb is a ghost and I did get a little inspo from the story maniac. Hope you enjoy the next few chapters in the future also I suck at updating so don't expect a new chapter everyday.
