AUTHOR'S POV
The next day, when Luhan entered his class, Joy was already there reading a book. They were the earliest to arrive.
"Annyeong." Luhan greeted.
"Aaaaah!" Joy screamed.
"O.oh... annyeong." She later softly said.
"Did I scare you? Im sorry!" Luhan apologized.
"Ah.. ne.." She nodded her head.
Then, there was silence, breathing sounds of each other could he heard.
"What's your next class?" Luhan interrupted the silence.
"English." She softly said.
"Cool! Me too!" Luhan smiled.
She said nothing but just smiled.
-During Lunch-
While they were sitting at the lunch table, Joy's phone suddenly rang which made everyone's attention onto her.
"Ah.erm.. excuse me." She mumbled while getting her phone out of her pocket.
"Annyeong?" Her sweet soft innocent voice spoke.
"B.b..bwo?" She asked through the phone and the call ended.
"What's wrong, noona?" Sehun asked while stuffing a fish ball into his mouth.
"Mian... I have to go now." She said and quickly ran off.
At The Hospital
"What happened to her, doctor?" Joy asked the doctor.
"Your mom, she fainted due to over-stress. She needs to get more rest." The doctor said.
"Y..yes doctor." She obeyed.
"And also.. we just found out something..." The doctor paused, "Your mom is at Level 4 of Lung Cancer."
"BWO?! ANDWAE." She screamed.
Even though the her she was screaming, to others, it was like a regular person talking's voice.
"Mom.." She weakly said.
"H..h.honey" She managed to reply.
"Mom, are you okay?" Joy asked while tears kept rolling down her eyes.
"I..im fine." She took a pause, "Take.. g.good care of your.self when.... I can....t any..more."
"Mom, don't say that!" Joy's tears started increasing.
At Home
Why? Why does my whole family have to suffer from lung cancer? What did we ever done wrongly? First, God took my dad, they're planning to take my mom as well?
Sigh, I'm going to be next.
She cried herself to bed.
