Crow Faye Colburn
Age: 24
Time: 9:30am
Crow jolted awake, waking from yet another nightmare. She sighed and slid to the edge of her bed. She just sat there for a few moments, just staring at the oak colored carpet of her bedroom. She sighed again and then got up and stretched, yawning. She then went to her dresser and picked out a plain black t-shirt and black skinny jeans that had a few rips in them. She then got dressed also putting on her favorite article of clothing, a dark grey beanie. She slipped her black converse on and grabbed her zip up hoodie, which was the same color as her beanie. She grabbed her house keys and wallet, walking out of her bedroom and going to the front door. She unlocked it and stepped outside, locking the door after she was outside. She walked off the porch and down the sidewalk. After a bit of walking, she reached the cafe she always went to in the mornings. She walked in and stood in line. Once it was her turn to order, she ordered a plain black coffee. As she waited for her coffee, she went and sat down. She pulled out her phone and scrolled through social media. She suddenly heard some people talking nearby. She looked up and over at the group. There was about 3 guys and two girls. One of the girls however, stood out to Crow for some reason. She had caramel colored skin and dark purple shoulder length hair. Her eyes were a toxic green. She wore a light grey tank top and a dark purple skirt that almost went to her knees. She was telling jokes to the people she was sitting with, making them laugh. Crow watched her, a strange feeling inside of her. This girl was, dare Crow say, hot as fresh coffee. The girl then looked over and Crow quickly looked away. Before she knew it, the girl was sitting across from her. Crow stared at her, eyes a bit wide with comfusion. The girl smiled and stuck her hand out. "Hi there. I'm Artemis, and you?" The girl, Artemis, spoke. Crow took a second to react before shaking Artemis's hand. "My name i-is Crow."
