Chapter 2

MARY POV•••••••••••

We got to the science room about 10 minutes late I explained to the teacher why we were late and we got sent to the principals office. I could tell Sydney was nervous. "So Sydney, I'm guessing you're new here?" I asked breaking the ice. "uh ya, I got bullied too much at my old school and I cut and attempted to kill my self... my mom got me to the hospital land shit and now we live here" she said rubbing her arm but I was speechless I didn't know what to think about the so I went over to her and hugged her. I felt like it was the right thing to do. "Come on let's go get in some shit now." I said trying to lighten things up. Once we got to the office and yelling at me and Rachel and Sydney who did nothing wrong at all. Mrs. green our Vice Principle. I spoke up and talked back to Mrs. Green. ( I like to call her mrs bitch ) which gave me 2 detentions. One for punching Rachel and the other for talking back. I looked over at Rachel and threatened to punch her again,she looked scared and she should be. After a bit we were dismissed and by the looks of it Sydney was ready to cry when I thought 'maybe i should introduce her to my brother.' I kept that pondering through my head when saw out of the corner of my eye Sydney's cuts. They looked pretty deep and bad, " how long has it been since you've cut?" I asked. " Around a week." she said rolling down her sleeves. "That's good right?" I asked. she nodded her head but still not much of a laugh or smile, I want to see her laugh and smile again.

SYDNEY POV•••••••

After that the day went by quickly, I was gathered my stuff and headed home once again blasting my music. ( BLACK VEIL BRIDES BITCHES ) I got home and my mom was waiting on the porch I guess for me to get home. " hi honey, how was your first day?" she asked. " ok, I guess." I lied it was terrible, meeting Mary was the only good thing that happened today. I went up to my room remembering my mom took anything sharp that was in my room, meaning I need to get a sharpener... I put my books on the ground and threw my bag on the ground and crashed on my bed. I wasn't good with friends so I don't know how long Mary would stick around. I managed to fall asleep and waking up again because of supper. " ugh I hate food." I thought to myself. After supper and homework I went to be blasting my music and fell asleep.

I woke up ( due to my brother..) and got up and went to talk to him about Sydney. " hey Jeremy." I said kinda rolling my eyes. " Yeah." he replied. " Today I want to introduce you to a new friend of mine, she could use some friends." Jeremy raised an eye brow. " Her name is Sydney, just don't be mean to her." I said about to walk in the bathroom. " Alright but why? Like I know you said she needs friends but why me?" he asked. "Because you guys have things in common and I want you to meet her." I replied.
