Chapter Thirteen

Krist arrived in Thailand, not going straight to Singto's house. He took a taxi and went to his family's house.

"Krist?" There was a sound of Mae who was a little surprised after opening the door.

"Don't ask anything! We'll talk tomorrow. I'm too tired Mae." It was already late when Krist arrived in Thailand.

Mae who understands let Krist enter the house with a number of items. Walking past the living room, where his Pho was sitting relaxed, without any greeting he walked on to his room, carrying all his belongings.

Arriving at the room, Krist did not intend to change clothes, he just wanted to close his eyes. Resting his body and mind in a soft mattress.

When the sun has begun to disturb his sleep, Krist opened his eyes, digesting the incident yesterday, remembering how could he be in his room

"Tok Tok Tok" Krist's bedroom is knocked from outside.

Krist opens the door, looks Mae shows her sweet smile.

"Your husband wants to meet you" Mae stepped aside, showing a man standing behind her.

Krist just smiled and didn't want to answer more. He opened the door a little wider, allowing Singto to enter his room It looks like Singto is still wearing a suit yesterday when he left him.

Mae smiles before leaving the two.

"Why didn't you go home?" Singto started the conversation 

"Which house are you talking about? Isn't this home too?"

"Our house Krist..."

"Which one?" Krist replied with a curtly, did not intend to refine is anger.

"Are you mad at me?"

"Who?"

"You're Krist, you're angry because I let you wait an hour?"

Krist did not intend to answer, he walked out of the room. Krist descends to the kitchen followed by Singto walking behind him.

Both Mae and Pho preparing to have breakfast together.

"Are you alright? So you both have breakfast here right?" asked Mae who was nodded by Krist.

Krist sat beside his Pho and Singto sat beside Krist. He took the food to help Singto's plate to fill it and served himself.

"Awww, Krist. Your hand? Why is it bruised?" Mae was surprised to see Krist's hand bruised, Singto immediately noticed Krist's bruised wrist remembering how he treated Krist yesterday.

"Ah. This? Yesterday got hit by the edge of the table, I think it would be fine Mae, it didn't hurt that much" Krist gives a sweet smile. Convince his parents that he is fine.

Singto is just silent, like thinking about something. That morning, the breakfast was silent, so quiet that Singto's cellphone shattered the silence.

"Sorry, excuse me first," Singto said before leaving. 

"Are you guys fighting?" Mae asked Krist. 

"No Mae, it's just misunderstanding," Krist said softly.

"Are you sure?" Mae asked with a little whisper.

"If you think Singto as a bad person, believe me, that he really - really loves you and will continue to love and look after you," Pho said giving advice, after giving the code to Mae not to ask further.
