I woke up the next morning with a irremovable smile on my face. Honestly for the first time in months I was finally truly happy.
I happily called out all of the boys names as I walked down the hall. Nobody was home I assumed. I walked into the kitchen, and saw Louis sitting at the breakfast bar angry and flustered. He was holding something paper in his hand. I didn't really want to know what he was angry about, but I sensed it had a lot to do with me.
"Get the hell over here, Charlotte Tomlinson." he nearly screamed.
He used my full name, I am in trouble no doubt.
I was scared about what he was going to say to me. "Lottie, what the hell is this?" He gestured a photograph at me. It was of Harry and I walking into the restaurant we went to yesterday arm in arm.
I'm so shocked I honestly didn't even see any paparazzi there.
"Lottie, our managers had to pay so much, just so this wouldn't get released," he paused, "Tell me, there is nothing going on with you and Harry."
"There is nothing going on with Harry" I swallowed on the last word then broke my eye contact with him and walked away, fiddling my fingers together.
"There better not ever be, or we would have problems." You could hear the heat in his voice.
I froze, cringed my eyes and bit my lip. I quickly walked to my room and shut the door. I had picked up my phone to see I had a text message from Harry.
"Meet me in the park in 10." it read.
I put on a lot more makeup than usual, and just regularly freshened myself. I opened the window to my roof, climbed out, and jumped off. I had to sneak out this way so Louis wouldn't suspect where I was going.
**
I met Harry at the park nearest to my house. He sat near the swings on a blanket with a basket. He openly and excitedly patted the spot next to him.
He waved, "Over here, Lottie." He had the most genuine smile on his face, I couldn't help but smile back.
He pulled out some homemade sandwiches and soda pops. We both laid down on the blanket in the grass, and looked up to the clouds in the sky. We talked. We actually truly talked. He told me everything I hadn't learned from the magazines or from my brother. He told me about his past girlfriends, the reason he's so sensitive in his relationships.
"I thought about it." I said.
"Huh? Thought about wh-" He was so curious to what I was talking about.
I quickly interupted, "I want to go out with you, Harry."
He stood up and rested his head on his arm. He couldn't believed what he had just heard. I can almost hear him asking for me to pinch him.
"Are you serious?"
"One hundred percent." I smiled
He laid down, scooted in, and brought me into a loose hug. The nervousness drained from his face. He just stared me in the eyes with in complete contentment. The smile never left his face. I almost wanted to ask if he wasn't just using the reflection in my eyes as a mirror. He brushed my hair out of my face and leaned over to kiss my cheek.
"Come to my flat with me?"
Before I could answer he stood up with my hand in a tight grip and soon we were running to his car. He sped hastily in his Range Rover.
**
He unlocked his flat, threw his keys on the ground, closed the door, and set me down infront of a mirror.
"I'll be right back." he said. He was so excited and so adorable.
I sat there and looked at pictures of him and the boys clipped and tapped all around his mirror. There was even one of him and I from years back. That picture made me smile.
He came in slowly. He set down a bag on the counter. He turned me so I could see myself in the mirror. He took my hair in his whole hand and put it out of my face to lie on my back.
He unzipped the bag. I kept looking down and blushing. I was too curious I couldn't contain anthing anymore.
He tilted my head up. "Look at yourself," he said in a very serious tone.
He pulled some liquid in a bottle out of the bag. He patted it on a cloth, and began stroking it against my face. He kept at it for a while too. All of my makeup had been taken off.
It was makeup remover.
When he finished he put his hands around my waist and rested his head on my shoulder just like before.
"Lottie, you are already the most beautiful girl I have ever laid eyes upon. You don't need any makeup to make you beautiful. You're flawless." He told me in such a way that made me want to believe it.
He softly kissed my cheek, I closed my eyes as he did. I opened them and looked at Harry's face. I had been so afraid to make contact for that long, it had just been uncomfortable for me. I looked at his every detail in his face.
I stood up quickly. I pointed to the seat. "Sit down," I said trying to mock the stern voice he had just used for me.
He did what I told him too. I told him to look at himself. It took him a while, but he finally did. I took his bangs and swept them to the side. I took a new pad of the makeup remover and brought it to his face. He wondered what I was doing. I softly wiped all the concealer from his face, revealing his true skin. I turned the chair around so he could look straight at me.
He looked me in the eyes. "Harry, you need to know you're the most beautiful lad I have ever seen. I love theboy under the concealer. Harry, you're gorgeous to me and you are flawless in my eyes. "
I saw a tear fall from his face and hit the ground. He looked down to the ground.
I lifted his face, "And you better believe it"
