The soft snowflakes fell down outside of the window, which became foggy from the close proximity of her face, her using the window as a makeshift pillow, leaning her head against it. The light shaking of the train and soft lights from the nearby cities, quickly passing by, had a lulling effect on her sleep-deprived self.
The excitement from finally being back had, unfortunately, caused the young female to pick up a bad habit of not sleeping so well the past few weeks. In her offence, she had had a lot on her mind for some time. When she found out that she finally would be back she didn't know whether to be glad, exited or miserable. The young musician would be able to finally reunite with her roots, or the roots she had planted herself when she decided to leave her home country to pursue her dream as a musician. She had, at the mere age of 19, decided to pack her bags and start a new life, in Seoul. When her career had started to take form she had made herself a whole new family all from which she had met through her company.
She had heard a lot of bad things about singing with a company, and she had been advised to start her own entertainment instead. Unfortunately, she had been desperate when she had moved. Figuring that she could manage a couple of years under a company, in order to build up a fanbase, she decided to only audition for three. Her main thought was that 'if these three companies don't take me in then it's not meant to be and I'll just have to start my own company' A thought that had turned out to be completely unnecessary since the first company she auditioned for wanted her.
From the year she turned 20 she was a part of 'JYP Entertainment' something she wouldn't trade for anything in the whole world. Sure, she had to be a trainee for two years, however, that was when she meet her family. She had already been a part of the company for a month when her manager had suggested her to meet the rest of the trainees. A decision, on the managers part, that had formed the rest of her future.
The practising room in which the young trainee had acquired was much different from the usual ones. Instead of a room with mirrors for walls and a small water outlet, hers was filled with a lot of furniture, and not a mirror in sight. The new trainee for 'JYP Entertainment' was going to persuade a genre of music that no one in the modern music industry had seen before. She was going to express herself fulltime in a way some idols only do for special occasions. To do this her practice room was fairly small, with a chair and a desk and some hanging plants in the corner. What made her practice room 'hers' was the grand piano in the middle of it. On the stool she spent her days in front of the piano, just doing what she loves. Creating music and living inside her own bubble she could fantasise about a near future where she could help others through hard times, as well as express the feelings some couldn't put into words themselves.
It was with a light knock on the wooden door, leading into her magical realm, that had broken the bubble. She let her fingers fall from the keys as she looked towards the sound.
"I'm sorry to disturb" the male that had opened the door said as he made a slight bow towards the female sitting by the piano. "I was told to come to collect you for the company dinner" he continued with a smile on his lips.
With a panicked feeling spreading through her body the young musician looked to the clock hanging over her desk, only to jump up from her stool a second later, frantically apologising to the man.
"I'm so so so sorry!" she exclaimed as she collected her things "I didn't know what time it was!" she continued still as panicked.
"Hey, calm down," the man said laughing, which caused her to slow down for a second only to admire him, and how he managed to make her stop in the midst of her frantic behaviour. "They're just waiting downstairs, and they asked me to fetch some things from the storage," he said opening the door for them both to exit out into the empty corridor "so if you don't mind I'd love some company?" He continued as he scanned the figure beside him, a friendly smile on his lips.
