CJ's pov Snapchat- from Grayson🖤 He's so perfect. I get into the car and turn on the radio. I head to school and sit down in my chair In homeroom and the announcements begin. Grayson sits behind me and I feel him playing with my hair, per usual. "And finally I'd like to announce the girls volleyball team have a game at home at six tonight. Lets give it up for our very own MVP, Cecilia Dean!" Grayson yells behind me, "THATS MY BESTFRIEND." "Gray, she's my best friend." Haley says next to me. School goes on uneventful and the last bell finally rings. "Are you and E coming to the game tonight?" "Of course." I say bye to Gray and go home and change into my volleyball uniform. Time skip to the game As I run out on the court Grayson and Ethan yell, "YEAH NUMBER 12!" I feel a little off my game but I still do okay. I made 9 points in the first quarter. Then 6 in the second. 8 in the third. 7 in the last. I go into the locker after the game and put on my sweatshirt and put my uniform in my bag after showering and then put my stuff in the back of Greys car and hopped in. "You did great, CJ!" "Thanks Grey! Where we going?" "Movie at mine?" "Sure. Are we gonna invite Haley?" "Nah lets make it just us." "Okay. Lets go get snacks." We walk into a small convenience store, and as we're looking at the chips, the lights seem too bright and the constant hum of the drink coolers seems like screaming in my ear. I start breathing heavily and struggle to get a breath out. Grayson turns around, "CJ you okay?" I let out a sharp breath and fall into darkness.
Graysons Pov As we shop for chips CJ starts breathing really heavy. "CJ you okay?" She pauses for a second and falls I barely catch her but I make sure her head doesn't hit the ground. "Cj?" I shake her shoulders and she doesn't do anything. I pick her up bridal style and run out to my car and lay her in back seat and hurry to the hospital. When we're almost there CJ starts to wake up and as we pull in she's almost completely awake. I pick her up bridal style and carry her in and they take her. I'm left in the waiting room filling out papers when Ethan gets there. "What Happened?" "I don't know." I focus on the paper work. I thought having Ethan here would calm me down but I still can't get the image of my best friend limp in my arms. A doctor walks out after a while and calls out, "Cecilia Dean?" I stand and walk towards him. "Hello. My name is Dr.Mike Chang (y'all know this reference? If so comment hehe) and I'm the lead doctor on Cecilia's case. We've concluded that she has anxiety. It doesn't look severe though, so this shouldn't be common. But I would look out about her self-harm." "I don't understand? Self harm?" "Umm. Yes. She has some pretty serious cuts and scars on her wrists." "Okay. Thanks." "She's asking for you." I walk in CJs room and she looks at me with a look of relief. "Sorry." "For what?" "Scaring you. Ruining movie night." "You didn't ruin movie night. At least not on purpose." I take a strand of CJ's hair and tuck behind her ear. "You're my best friend. I don't know what I'd without you." "I love you Gray." "I love you too CJ."
