Dex checked his phone to make sure they were at the location of the largest source of power, a grassy plain with some mountains nearby. In front of them was a large red and black cube, larger than a two story house. In the middle of the cube was Infinite, waiting. Wearing a new mask. Dex held the handle of his pixel slicer in preparation. Infinite opened his eyes. The jackal moved his hand up, causing the cube to open and create a set of stairs, allowing him to leave it. "So it seems that the trembling child and LEGO figure returns." Infinite said. "And hello to you too great value shadow the hedgehog, hows your backstory?" Dex asked. "It's with your delayed prequel story." Infinite said. Dex had no expression. He sighed calmly, and looked at Infinite. "Hey, have you ever experienced an interrupting attack?" Dex asked fixing his sleeve. Infinite was confused. "What do you me-" Infinite wasn't able to finish his sentence due to Dex striking him on the abdomen. Dex smiled. "Judging by your expression, I'd say no." Dex said. Infinite used a shockwave to send Dex back. The stick figure landed and used his right hand to stop himself from moving any further. Dex got up. "Before we fight." Dex said. "How did you survive?" He continued. Infinite revealed another phantom ruby. "When you crushed my original power source to dust, I presumed my life would be over. But I was able to gather enough of it to bring myself back from the dead using its regenerative abilities and leave before you saw me." Infinite said. The jackal planted the ruby on his chest. "This new one is weaker compared to my original one, but it's still enough for me to fight." Dex sighed. "Well, now that we know that." Dex raised his hand towards the sky. The pixel slicer formed above his hand. Dex grabbed the weapon and pointed the blade at Infinite. "This time, you're not coming back." Dex said. Infinite laughed. "Come at me with everything you've got." He said
Gadget got out his wispon gauntlet. Him and Dex started running towards the antagonist. Infinite got out his blade and ran towards the two. Dex and Infinite began battling. The Jackal tried to find a way to strike Dex, but the latter was able to dodge or block everything he did. Infinite then used his leg to trip Dex. Before Infinite was able to attack with his sword, the stick figure kicked Infinite right on the chin. This gave Gadget the chance to use burst on infinite. But the jackal used a shield made out of red and black cubes. All according to plan. Gadget jumped up and got the cube hammer out. Gadget hit Infinite on the left part of his face, flinging him towards a cliff. Infinite got up and started firing large cubes towards Dex and Gadget. "DON'T GET HIT!" Dex yelled out. The two kept moving around to make sure no cube would strike them. Gadget grabbed Dex by the hand and threw him towards the cliff Infinite was on. Infinite tried firing one large cube, but Dex reduced it to shards with the pixel slicer. Dex quickly struck Infinite. The jackal punched Dex in the face. But was quickly countered with a kick. Infinite got his blade and slashed Dex's left arm off. Infinite smiled assuming the fight's winner is confirmed. Dex laughed slightly. "Why are you laughing, you should be screaming in pain right now." Infinite said. Dex shined green. Suddenly, his arm formed back as if nothing happened. "I forgot to mention, the green portion of my form, allows me to regenerate any serious injuries back to regular health." Dex said "You pest!" Infinite said as he attempted to strike Dex again, Dex grabbed the blade and flashed into RGB. He crushed the blade to ensure he doesn't have to worry about losing any limbs again. Dex did an uppercut which flew Infinite off the cliff and onto the ground. The jackal got up and looked absolutely livid. "Stay down Infinite, you lost this fight." Dex said placing the Pixel slicer away. Infinite looked at Gadget and Dex. "I'm not going to lose to you two again. I saw that the two of you work together as a team correct?" He asked. Dex looked at Gadget who shrugged. "Yeah what about it?" Dex asked. Infinite let out a sinister smile as the ruby lit up, being fully charged. "I'll just have to take something with me then." He said as he threw down a cube, blinding the two. Infinite was gone. "Gadget, can you track him?" Dex asked. "I'll see what I ca-" Gadget couldn't finish since he saw something happening to him. A portal made out of cubes was taking Gadget somewhere. "NO WAIT!" Dex yelled out as he reached his hand to grab Gadget. Gadget did the same but it was too late, the portal took him away. Dex was shocked. The stick figure grabbed his phone and checked to see where the most noticeable source of energy was. "I'm coming for you Infinite." Dex said with a distorted voice. He flashed into Genocide. "This is where it ends." He said flying at full speed.
