JEON JUNGKOOK sighs as he glance over a painting he just finished. His paint-stained fingers reaches for the canvas and he picks it up, glaring at it as he tilts it in various angles. He doesn't know what he's looking for.

"Yes, mom. I'm okay. Yes, yeah."

The raven haired male drags his suitcase across the pavement. Clueless to where he should head on next. He plans to ask around and make use of the campus signs, but his over-worried mom on the phone gets in the way of that.

"..Alright, mom, mom.  MOM."

"Don't yell at me, young man."

Jungkook stops on his tracks, not realizing he had yelled at the phone.

"Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to do that," he chuckles sheepishly, not wanting to attract attention to himself. When his mom won't hang up when he needs her to, the last resort is to annoy his mom off the phone, "I just, mom, I can handle myself. And now I have to find my dorm, my room, unpack, get to know my roommate, socialize, go to parties, lose my vir-"

"Okay, too much information," He can hear his mom sigh at the other end, "Sorry, Jungkook. But you just can't be too careful. I get that you wanted to spend your college life away from us, to 'take a break', whatever that means-"

Jungkook can basically see his mom across the line doing her usual air quotes. It annoys him sometimes.

"I just," he hears her exhale again, "I'm just worried. I mean- that's just my job now, isn't it?"

"Yeah, I understand mom." He replies shortly, fiddling with the suitcase handle.

"Alright, take care of yourself now. I hope you find your room, and I hope your roommate's nice,"

"Yeah, one can only hope."

"Call me when you arrive there."

"Uh-huh." He hangs up.

He got lost.

Jungkook had put a pause on his journey and resided to a large field in the middle of campus filled with greens.

He feels dizzy now. His stomach feels like it would lurch up at any moment.

All the students he asked for directions either ignored him or said they were too busy. Which was two people. Jungkook felt like that was enough social interaction for today. He feels anxious. He never was good with people. He's jealous of people who are.

Now he's sitting, his knees to his chest in the middle of the sun-shone grass field with his suitcase beside him, not knowing what to do.

He was lucky to get accepted to Yongha, he wouldn't pass up the opportunity even though it's too big for his liking.

"It's like a fucking maze, Jesus fucking Christ." he breathes out.

"Ha. You tell me."

Jungkook's head jerks up to the source of the sound. The sun stings in his eyes.

He hears a lighter being lit. And a rustle beside him.

The student sat down next to him, and what looked like a cigarette was between his fingers.
