" Come on just one picture Rahul , Please" debadrita said asking her bestfriend . She had been asking him relentlessly upon arriving at his Apartment
She was Rahul's only normal friend . Rahul just wanted some type of normalcy outside of being a cricketer . Debadrita was a photographer and a damn good one .
Anyway
He had asked her if she would watch a movie with him and she happily agreed . Secretly she had developed a major crush on the cricketer but she highly doubted he would like her . He practically had women all over him and he's received several love confession on social media accounts . He just replied that he wasn't looking to be in a relationship at that moment.
It broke her heart whenever he said that Sameeksha and Nikita girlfriends of Abhishek and mayank knew of her huge crush on him so they always shoot daggers on him for breaking her heart whenever he said that . Poor Rahul used to be confused by their glares
" Why do you want to take my picture " Rahul asked obviously annoyed with her efforts .
She huffed at his stubbornness
" Cause I want to and because I've taken pictures of all my other friends and even of ICT except my bestfriend which is you , I'd really like to take your picture please Rahul " she struck out her bottom lip hoping it would work on him
He sighed and then chuckled by shaking his head " Fine if it makes you happy , I'll do it doll "
She had always liked the nickname he had given her . " Alright first off , I need better lighting to take the picture , so how about we go to the park "
He smiled " sure thing doll face "
As Soon as they both arrived she immediately grabbed his left wrist and dragged him around the park to find a perfect spot . While she was dragging him , she failed to notice the crimson blush that dusted his cheeks " God she's so beautiful , why can't I just ask her out already "
" Right here , she placed him infront of a cherry tree " dabs said
" Doll it's not necessary , it's not like I'm shooting for any magazine or tabloid right " Rahul said
She struck out her tongue earning a laugh from him
A laugh that made her weak at the knees
" Yes this is necessary and it has to be perfect because I said so . And you did be surprised at everything I've access to " debadrita said flipping her hair
" Sometimes I question your sanity doll " Rahul said through stray laughter
" Don't worry , I question my sanity too , now look at the camera and smile a genuine one not a forced type " she said fixing her camera
This was one of her FAVIORATE things to do , and he loved the enthusiasm she put towards her work , and he could never be any prouder .
He loved how energetic she became when she was taking photos . She even made a photo wall where there was an enormous amount of photos that she took of ICT as group photos
He treasured that wall in his apartment so much. Not because of the moment described in the pictures because she was the one who took them .
In other photo she took him under the tree . Trying to keep himself from kissing her then and there he restrained himself. Not wanting to ruin the already amazing friendship .
" Okay that was the last one , thank you so much ruhu . Here I want to give you this for your wall " she said giving him the picture
" Thank you dabs you've no idea how grateful I'm to have you as my bestfriend . You always know how to make me feel better on my bad days . You truly are the best friend I could ever ask for . Don't tell harry I said that okay " Rahul says with a wink
At this her heart shattered 💔
" Why would I ever think that he'd actually like me ? You're so stupid dabs maybe it's time to move on " she forced out a laugh and put a fake smile on her face
" No problem Rahul " he smiled back at her
" Wanna head back to my apartment , I've chocolate chip cookies and ice cream and maybe your favorite Marvel movie " Rahul asked
" Sure , I'm going to be 24 forever so why not "
" Dabs " someone shouted
Turning back they saw khaleel
He came and hugged her while she reciprocate it with equal strength . Rahul clenched his fist in anger and jealousy
" How the heck can this khaleel hug my dabs " rahul thought
He roughly grasped her arms and left back to his apartment . He immediately went back to the kitchen to grab two bowls of cookie dough ice cream .
Meanwhile debadrita was shocked by his behavior. She plopped herself on the couch flicking through the movies to decide which one to watch .
" Which one are we watching " Rahul said with an almost whisper from behind her
She jumped " Thor : Ragnarok "
She adjusted to give him space but he just lifted her and settled on his lap .
She shrieked and blushed deep red causing him to laugh . After his laugh subsided he noticed the red tint in her cheeks .
" Doll you're blushing like a rose " he smirked
She responded by blushing a deeper and more visible crimson . Rahul bit his lip , trying to restrain himself . But he couldn't do it much longer .
" You look so adorable when you blush " he said while taking a bit of his ice cream
She mumbled a response which he couldn't hear.
" I'm sorry , what was that " he said putting his face on the crook of her neck
She blushed even deeper " I said stop making me blush "
" Oh believe me , I could make you blush without saying a word " He said , his pine black eyes becoming dark with something she couldn't place
She blushed at his words , words that sent chills down her spine .
He set down his now empty bowl and turned her so that she could face him
" Dabs " he said eyes traveling down from her eyes to her lips
Their faces merely an inch apart
" Rahul ...... ? " And after he couldn't help it
He kissed her , slow and gentle but with so much love and passion that it felt more intimate that it should have been
To say she was stunned was an understatement. But her eyes closed both of their lips moved in sync . Her hands sliding behind his neck and right hand at her waist .
She took his left hand and moved it to her hip. His eyes darkened at her geasture . His lips crashing into hers again
They both knew where it would end up but neither of them objected . They both had finally found what they were finding in their lives and they could never be much happier
