"Where do you think they went?" Joy asked Irene and Seulgi who were still sitting on the misty ground of the motel.
"I have no idea," Irene replied. They had no idea where the receptionist or Yeri went. Then, Seulgi's eyes brightened as she had an idea.
"Maybe they went to the asylum," she suggested. "Maybe the receptionist works for GOP and took Yeri. Why else would she attack us?"
"I still think it's a trap," Irene mumbled.
"We need to go there and save them," Seulgi insisted. "Or we will be forever guilty of leaving them in that asylum to be tortured."
"I agree with Seulgi," Joy said, finally standing up, ready for their rescue mission.
"Then let's go," Seulgi said. They walked out of the room and into the empty parking lot which was engulfed in an eerie darkness.
"My car..." Joy winced. "Where is my car?"
"Maybe they took it," Irene sighed, losing hope.
"We can hitchhike," Seulgi said.
"Do you really think there will be people driving across here at this hour?" Irene doubtfully questioned. Like a miracle, they heard a distant car travelling on the road.
"I guess there are," Seulgi shrugged, followed by a chuckle. The girls jogged along the gravel parking lot to the side of the road before the car could pass the motel and Joy stuck her thumb out. The car, thankfully, pulled over next to them.
"What can I do for ya?" the man in the car asked.
"Can you do me a favour and lend us your car?" Joy demanded, using her energy to deliver the message into his sleepy mind.
As if a breeze of energy entered his body, the man straightened his back and replied, "Sure." He opened the car door and stepped out, allowing Joy to enter the driver's seat greedily.
"Too easy," Joy teased.
"Shotgun!" Irene bursted, running for the passenger's seat as Seulgi sulkily trudged to the back seat. As soon as the doors closed, Joy started the engine and drove swiftly - remembering the address Yeri entered in her GPS -, not caring about seat belts or the speed limit. Only caring about Yeri.

Something in Seulgi's pocket vibrated.
"Do you have a phone on you?" Irene asked from the front seat.
"Yea, someone's just calling me," Seulgi replied.
"Ok," Irene said, accepting Seulgi's reply, but not entirely understanding why she has a phone. Seulgi started texting the caller.

"There it is!" Joy said, pointing at the distant building behind thick trees. "I'll park here, so they don't hear us coming." They hopped out of the car and walked carefully on the grass beside the road. The grass crunched under their feet loudly, compared to the still silence surrounding them. They crossed the crowd of trees and the asylum was revealed. The asylum appeared as an old, white hospital; seemingly abandoned. Irene inspected the location and saw the main entrance.
"There's the main entrance, but that would be too obvious if we entered there," Irene said. "We should find a back door somewhere." They circled the building to look for a more secretive way of entering. At the back of the building was a smaller, more secretive door.
"This is perfect," Seulgi whispered. Irene opened her palms and froze the door and created sharp icicles that pierced through the wood of the door, leaving a hole for them to step through.
"That was kinda loud," Joy said, hesitating to go through the hole.
"It's fine," Irene assured. "There's no one coming." She ducked through the hole of the door and Seulgi and Joy followed. They entered into a seemingly empty corner-of-a-hallway. The tiles were white, as well as the walls and ceiling; like a hospital, but ran by the insane. They walked along the silent hallway, examining each room.
"There's footsteps coming," Irene whispered, grabbing Seulgi and Joy with her to an unknown room. The footsteps passed by slowly. They exited the room and continued looking for Yeri and her friend, Wendy. They came across a door with a suspicious label, "Subject #1".
Joy turned the door knob and found a room filled with agents overlooking a helpless girl, strapped onto her seat with wires attached to her head. A man approached her.
"Who are you and what are you doing h-,"
"Can you do me a favour and not let anyone get in the way of us?" Joy interrupted. The man, as if hypnotised, started attacking his colleagues who approached them. "That must be Wendy," Joy pointed out. "Let's get her out of here." Irene helped Joy unbuckle Wendy from the chair and pull off the wires from her head.
Irene shook Wendy's shoulders, "Wendy?" and she slowly woke up, stunned.
"Who are you?" Wendy asked, stepping away from them.
"We're friends," Irene responded as Wendy continued walking away, arms up in a defense position.
"We're Yeri's friends," Joy said. Wendy immediately dropped her arms and understood that they were there to save her.
"Where's Yeri?" Wendy asked again.
"She was taken," Joy answered. "We came for her." Irene looked around the room.
"Joy," Irene whispered, "where's Seulgi?"
