IaaS: (Infrastructure as a Service).

examples: AWS EC2, Rackspace, Google Compute Engine (GCE), Digital Ocean

IaaS platforms are:

· Cost-effective.

PaaS: (Platform as a Service)

· Provides hardware and software tools available over the internet.

examples: AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Heroku, Windows Azure, OpenShift, Apache Stratos, Magento Commerce Cloud.

PaaS platforms are:

· Scalable

· Easy to run without extensive system administration knowledge.

SaaS: (Software as a Service).

· Provides software that's available via a third-party over the internet.

· examples: BigCommerce, Google Apps, Salesforce, Dropbox, MailChimp, Hubspot.

SaaS platforms are:

· Hosted on a remote server by a third-party provider.

· Inclusive, offering security, compliance, and maintenance as part of the cost.

3. Aws uses databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle or SQL Server for storeing information.
