The world was always so warm. It seemed so unnatural. Everyone had already known that this would be the consequence, but nobody knew to stop it. We were all forced to move to a new planet, several thousand light years away from Terra, Sol and Luna. The first civilisation to move all agreed that they would no longer call our old home by its original name, nor its planets, as it brought back too many pained memories of what they had all destroyed. I have only ever heard stories about it. There were lush forests of trees, large oceans filled with the saltiest of water, weird looking animals covered in vibrant colours (some would change even). It all seemed so mythical, yet so realistic. Sculptures, great and small, of some of the creatures are in a giant building in the middle of the town. Along with photos of the old world. Weird. They could not say it's old name, yet they brought along so many treasured artefacts. Stupid.
Though this was all years ago. The year is now 2328. Each of us evolved quickly, either gaining more strength or agility. The use for smarts was lost after a few years, which was unfortunate. At least it was in the town in which I grew older in. The town was built with heavy red stone which was to be found everywhere around us. It was one of the most used mineral in the whole creation of our tiny towns. The creation of motor-vehicles was the second priority. The people got to work fast. Weird combinations of cars and big tanks were soon roaming the streets. Extremely rarely would you see a small vehicle. They were seen as 'puny' or 'weak'. Something to be looked down upon, much like smarts.
Now to much of your curiosity, I am not one of these heavy fist, 'Wanna go?' towns people. Not anywhere near. I can have my fired up tendencies, but I rather keep those to myself. I preferred cool, calm and collected. It gets me places I shouldn't be and has other perks. I am one of the last people to be much more academically talented then others. Of course others still have their smarts, mine are just a bit more up there. A very important note is that I am an inventor. I create things for either the towns people or myself. Never for free. Everyone needs their ways around here, invention is mine.
I work with three other people.
Momo Yaoyorozu. She is, what you could call, my manager. She puts all of my clients in order, but she does it on the down low. Her family runs the weekly events of the town. Extremely rich families look down upon poorer people than themselves. Momo was just a four-leafed-clover.
Eijiro Kirishima. He is surely... something. He is most definitely the happiest of us. Never a smile off that toothy grin of his. He collects a lot of my materials for me and my creations. His main side of work is an apprentice blacksmith. He says that it is tiring but he is happy as it is a good supply source for both my materials and materials he can use for his future vehicles. Its a win-win situation.
Lastly, Mina Ashido. We close to never talk. I am often given information on her through Momo. Mina is my supply of chemicals as she works on a local farm with her father. They are only small chemicals, but when put together, I can create anything from a petrol to a projectile weapon. All that I know of her is that she is a happy go lucky ray of sunshine.
But recently, I had a fourth join them. He was searching for cover. His face and body was covered head to toe in burn marks. His body and face were only first degree, yet his hands and arms where burnt, almost charred. It were as if he held his arms in an open oil fire. His clothes were covered in holes and his hair was stuck to his head because of his sweat. Most likely from the heat he endured. The way we met this mysterious character.
Now that was something.
