Chapter Five

Alison's POV

That's all Josh has repeated since we left for school, we are once again in the car because he has deemed me to emotionally unstable to drive. What kind of leader would I be if I wasn't upset at my loss of gang members, they were slaughtered; murdered in cold blood. I thought this had been left behind in Australia when Mr Green died, I thought this pain was over. I've already lost my home, my boyfriend and my family; why must the world try to take the last thing that I love.

After we found the bodies; Josh quickly got them removed from the premises, a funeral for them all has quickly been organised and will be held this weekend. The leftover gang in Australia will be coming over for the funeral, then returning but with Josh. In light of the current situation arising, Josh will be heading back to get more members to fill up the Australian part of the gang. He will return with the experienced members to fill our ranks once more leaving the newbies with few experienced leaders. It isn't the best but it must be done; the strongest gang title must be kept and the new issue must be faced. We know who did this, it was the American gang 'Nightwalkers'; information on the gang is hard to find, I suspect they are doing what we once did to hide our identities. But I've got Josh on the case, he won't be attending school till his return from Australia. This situation isn't ideal, but I let my guard down; with the elimination of Mr Green I thought it was all over and now I'm paying the price. I'll have to take a trip back over to Australia myself once this has calmed down, but for now, the fear of a leader they have never met might help them to perform better. 

I shove my earbuds into my ear and start to blast All Time low. I close my eyes for a moment before walking into the school doors, I let my guard down before, it isn't happening again, I've learnt my lesson.  I make a beeline for my locker and grab the books I need for the day.

"ALISON" I hear a voice yell, most likely from the end of the hallway from how distant the voice sounded.  I turn around and Casey is running towards me with a smile on her face.

Smile back, we know she is innocent.

I force a smile on my face, shut my locker and turn completely so she has my full attention. 

"How was your night? I didn't hear much from you" She questions 

Horrible, many of my gang members died

"It was alight, I just had school work to do, I don't want to fall behind now do I" I let out a laugh to put her more at ease, "yourself?" Casey dives straight into a conversation about how her night went and what her brother did. 

Alec. Oh, how he will pay.

"You talking about me, child?" speak of the devil and he shall appear.

"Don't call me child! we are the same age." 

I tune the twins out, there bickering is starting to annoy me. He is right in front of me, I should do something, I should take him down now before he can do anything else. We don't know if it was him, don't do anything. Josh's voice reminds me, I can't believe this he isn't even here and he is stopping me from doing stupid shit.

I let my gaze fall on Alec who meets mine with his.

I throw a smile at him, he can't suspect anything, nothing at all.

I know your secret Alec, good luck bringing to reality.

So, I'm sorry. I know I've been MIA but IM BACK and I'm not leaving. I finally see the direction for this story and I'm completely over mt writer's block!
