" WHAT THE FU- wh-what is this...?" Right there. In your bare hands. Was. A. Kitten. " holy shit it's too CUTE AH MY EYES- 😫💕💕💕" you where so loud and screaming that you thought Mexico could hear you from here. Naruto came running side-ways and yelled, " I HEARD A SCREAM, ARE YOU OK- What i-is that!" You rolled your eyes, " a kitten, naruto. Ever seen one?" Naruto went from worrying to "I know what a kitten is!" You muttered 'yeah right' before Kiba, Hinata, and shino came in just as fast as sonic. Hinata was the first out of the three to know it was a kitten and squealed, "AAAWWWWEEEE ITS A KITTEN..!" You squished his toe beans and took a closer look at him. Black,grey, and a white mix with a very rare pair of eyes. One was blue, while the other one was green. He had tiny little ear tuffs, which were peach. He had a little pink nose with a tiny, squishy pair of pink toe beans. He was super fluffy, probably more fluffy than a stuffed animal. He had a mark on his chest like looked like a diamond which was white, with a ombré of colors around it. He had a stub as a tail. He also had a little stub tooth sticking out, which made him even cuter. He was a perfect little kitten. Just for you. But the question was, who gave the kitten to me? And why would he or she give a kitten like this up? You looked into the kittens eyes, just before Kiba tried grabbing the kitten out of your arms. Luckily you kicked him in the stomach, which killed his plan.
"so... what are you going to name him..?" Naruto whispered, not wanting to awake the now asleep kitten. Hhhmmmm.... ugh what do I name him..? You spoke quietly, " I-i don't know yet, so I'm going to wait." They nodded as I Beckoned them closer. "Shino can you help me get him off?" Shino nodded before gently lifting up the kitten and cradled it in his arms. No one has ever seen Shino's caring side. It was cute, you admitted, but not in that way. You got up and stretched before grabbing some clothes to actually wear for the day. Nothing much, just sweatpants, a grey tank top, and some boots. You went into your bathroom and changed before coming back out to see a disaster. When you say disaster you mean naruto screaming as the kitten climbing on his back hissing because it was scared. You mentally face-slap yourself. Note: never leave naruto alone with the kitten. You walked over to naruto, which he was basically getting clawed to death, grabbed the kitten gently, and wrapping it in your arms.
"you suck at taking care of cats naruto." You said while naruto blushed and turned the other way. You turned to the box and realized that there was still something in it. You walked over with the little kitten still in your arms and sat down. Using one hand to grab whatever was in the box, your hand pulled out a beautiful necklace. The one you always wanted. The one with a black and white dragon with bright poppy blue horns. It still was in the wrapper, which you unwrapped it and placed it on the nightstand. You stared at it with awe, before realizing that someone from the academy got this for you. Why else would they know you loved cats and that you wanted this necklace so badly? You looked at naruto, who was looking at the kitten. Everyone else was watching the movie again.
" hey naruto." He looked at you with a soft expression on his face. "Yea?" You sighed. "Want to go shopping with me? I feel better, and I don't think I'm sick anymore. Plus I can pack later.." he blushed slightly, rubbing the back of his head and said, "s-sure we can do that, is it for the cat?" "Yep. Just give me a minute naruto." You got up and gave naruto the kitten, which was round two for them. You walked back into the bathroom and put your hair up in a ponytail/man-bun (for short hair). You grabbed your side bag and put your wallet and phone in it, before proceeding to walk out to see naruto and the kitten finally getting along. The kitten was snuggled up into naruto's chest, as he smiled slightly and looked up at you. "I'm ready." You said, he nodded, trying to give the kitten to you but you let him carry him. You guys left the room and said to the rest of the gang, "we'll be back in like an hour, so don't eat my food Kiba." Kiba groaned as the rest just said 'ok' as you left with naruto.
you and naruto were walking down the path to the store, picking up a decent conversation, before you accidentally bumped into someone. "Oof! Oh, I'm s-sorry-.......n-neji..?" You looked up embarrassed to see neji looking down at you. Rock lee popped up from behind neji and smiled at you warmly as naruto helped you up. You shook your head and then saw tenten looking at you with a concerned face. " are you ok y/n? Also- DAMMIT NEJI WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SORRY!" She grabbed his ear and yelled at him. Neji had a 'I'm dead as frick' face and you couldn't help but laugh. Rock lee walked over to you and asked, " where are you going y/n? It's been forever since I've seen you!" You smiled. You love this dumb butt. " me and naruto are actually going to the pet store to get some items for my new kitten I got!" Rock lee widened his eyes. "Really? Can I see this kitten?" You giggled. "Of course rock lee, naruto can I have him please?" You looked over to naruto and he kindly gave you the kitten. His little eyes were open and was looking at rock lee with awe. Rock lee bent down and touched his little nose. " hello there kitten! You are so cute aweeeee! I just wanna hold you super close and squish those chubby cheeks, ah-Tenten!" "rock lee move over! Let me see the kitten!" Tenten yeeted Rock lee out of the way and looked at the kitten with 'he's too pure' eyes. "Gah! He's precious y/n! How did you get him?" You sweat dropped. " hehe ya uh funny story..... I got him in a box that was for me..?" Tenten's face shot up and looked at you in the eyes. "Really? That's cool! You got a kitten for free! Neji come see the kitten y/n got-" we both looked behind where Neji was.
but He wasn't there. "Um Neji..? Where did you go?" You looked to the right and almost had a laugh attack. "OMG TENTEN HE'S IN THE TREE BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA-" Tenten looked up and started laughing with me. Neji looked embarrassed as a red tomato and muttered a 'tch' before making it down the tree. " I-it's not funny guys..." he said quietly. We couldn't stop laughing though. Neji was now really embarrassed and covered his face with his hands. " what? Are you scared of cats Neji?" He nodded slowly, and we both stopped laughing. "O-oh sorry about that Neji.." you said, feeling a lil embarrassed because you laughed out loud in front of everyone. "It's ok.." though we knew that he was still really embarrassed. You gave naruto the kitten before making your way to Neji and embraced him in a hug. He took it as an apology and returned the hug. It lasted a few seconds before you both let go. After knowing what happened you asked them, " do you guys want to go with us to get supplies?" They looked at each other before Neji said, " sure." You smiled and took the kitten from naruto again and rocked him like a baby. He fell asleep as you guys walked to the pet store. Tenten asked, " what's his name?" You looked at her and just said, " he doesn't have a name yet." There were a few people there at the pet store when you got there. You all went in.
it smelt like lavender with a bit of honey when you first went in. You could see all the shelf's of toys, bags of foods for different kinds of pets, to medicine for pets. There was a lot to discover and you were excited to become a cat mother for your new baby kitten. You stood beside naruto as you hid the kitten in your side bag, with the top slightly open so he could still breathe fresh air. The register man in the front said 'welcome' and smiled warmly before you guys went into the food isle. "Ok, naruto and Neji can help me find the food while Tenten and Rock lee can look for toys, is that alright with you guys?" They nodded before running of, leaving only naruto, you,and Neji. You rubbed your right arm as you looked through the isles to try and find the cat food. What you didn't notice is someone in front of you and the 'watch out there's water here' sign. Which you eventually bumped right into the person, hurting your nose in the process. And to make it even better, you fell right on your butt into the wet floor, getting your clothes wet. " ouch! O-oh I'm sorry sir or ma'am-" you rubbed your head. You felt dizzy inside. "Y-y/n..?" Funny.. how does it know my n-name..? "Y/n are you ok!" Huh..? My n-names n-not.....y-y/n........u...h...

*THUMP!*

"Y/n!....Y/N!"

You felt a pair of hands shaking you hard. You were about to smack a bitch but you couldn't. You opened your eyes weakly. "Y/n! Omg are you ok!?" You saw naruto. Only naruto. Then you heard a 'tch' come from behind you. Too hurt to look behind, you opened your mouth and said, "w-wh...where...a..m....I..?" "We're in the pet shop still. What happened to you?" Naruto picked you up and you instantly thought of the kitten. Eyes opened now, you almost screamed, "where's.. the..the k..kitten?!?" Naruto turned you sideways to show Neji holding the kitten, cradling it in his arms. Your worried face turned into a soft, relaxed face and you sighed. You still felt dizzy. You rubbed your head, wincing at the big sore on your head. "Are you ok though y/n.?" Neji asked quietly. You smiled weakly, still regaining strength and said, "of course I-I'm ok Neji.. don't w-worry.." he shook his head and picked up your side bag, putting the kitten in and putting the side bag on him so that he could help you stand. Slowly but steadily, you got your strength back, to the point where you could walk on your own. You got the cat food for the kitten, and some toys that rock lee and Tenten picked out for him, and other stuff that the cat would need. Before you guys checked out you walked over to the collars and got a raven blue collar with a cute little bell for your kitten. You walked back to the check out where almost all the stuff were already checked.
you placed the collar with the stuff. " $64. 80 please." You took out your money but Rock lee stopped you. " wait y/n, we'll all help on this one." Rock lee said as he put his share into the stack. You almost teared up at how kind your friends were and how lucky you were to be with them. After they all helped bring the stuff back to your house, where you were exhausted from the journey. You thank them all and they left besides naruto, leaving you, the kitten, and naruto all alone. You went inside to still see Hinata, Kiba, and shino all watching another movie.
"Ah! You're back!" Kiba said. "Yep and I'm tired so either you sleep here or you leave." Kiba nodded and texted his mom letting her know that he's staying with you. Shino agreed, telling his bug to go tell his dad. Hinata left because she had dinner with her family that night. You all said bye to her as she left and naruto agreed to stay too. Now you are a tomboy and it was normal to have sleepovers with boys. "Ok, either one of you sleep with me or you all sleep on the couch which you would all die because of the space. So which is it?" They looked at each other and Kiba said, " I'll sleep with you y/n." You yawned. "Ok, just gimme a second to change." You walked into the room and put kitten on the bed before changing. Not your normal pjs, because you had boys over, so it was simple. A t-shirt and shorts. You hopped out and snuggled up close to the kitten, hearing it purred in your embrace. Kiba went into the room after turning off all the lights. He yawned and got under the covers before snuggling with the kitten also. You blushed slightly, not ever being this close to Kiba before, but you enjoyed his company. You ruffled his hair and he laughed. Being too tired to move your hand, you let it drop right on Kiba's shoulder. You blinked a couple of times before the memory of today replayed in your mind, leaving you in the pitch darkness of the night.
