Prologue

Scourge had just defeated Firestar.He had won the battle.He was just starting to celebrate when a call came from behind him.

 "Nine lives,buddy."And that's all he remembered before the world around him went black and a horrible pain sized his body.

When everything was back from the colorless void,Scourge realized he wasn't in the same place.The four tall oaks and blood stained battle field had been replaced by a vast forest.Pray scent was everywhere.Suddenly,a starry figure arose from a bush.They were a she-cat with a blue-gray coat that looked as though it had stars woven in it.

" Bluefur?"Scourge gasped out,remembering her as the cat who saved his life,"Were am I?What am I doing here? "

 "You are in StarClan,Scourge."Bluefur said,staring into Scourge's eyes," And my name is no longer Bluefur.I am Bluestar now."

 "That doesn't explain why I'm here." Scourge replied,looking at Bluestar with his steady,icy gaze.

"You are with me in StarClan."Bluestar said calmly,"Though you were a sociopathic murderer,You did something the Clans will forever owe you dept for.You killed Tigerstar."

 Scourge stared at the cat who had saved him so many moons ago,trying to figure out what she meant.For all he knew Tigerstar was just an insane jerk.

 "Tigerstar killed many cats.Including what would have been your half-mother-in-law Brindleface and half-father-in-law Redtail."Bluestar explained with a grave expression.

Scourge had never known that Tigerstar had killed more than just his sanity.He looked at Bluestar,just staring at her.

"And for your killing him,StarClan has decided to give you another chance to see if you can prove your worth walking among us."The she-cat said and,almost at once,Scourge was engulfed by that same blackness and pain.
