Honor eyes opened a little before he closed them back. He grabbed his head as it began pounding. "Shit." He hissed turning over only to find Essence laying under him with her arm wrapped around him waist.
He looked under the covers to find them clothed causing him to sigh in relief. He didn't have no memory of last night but he knew they had a good time because confetti was all over the bed along with snacks.
"E wake up." He whispered sitting up in bed. He looked through her purse before finding what he needed-extra strength Tylenol. He took two before passing them to Essence who seemed to stared at his neck in a daze. "What?"
"My n-name," she whispered causing him to stared at her in confusion, "My name is tatted on your fucking neck Honor."
His eyes widened as he grabbed his phone. He slid the screen over until the camera popped up. "What the fuck."
Essence jumped out of bed looking over her body for a tattoo. She hissed in pain looking at her side which at Honor name written with a heart shaded in red. She touched her temples as they each stared at one another.
"I don't know what happened last night." Honor said
Essence covered her face as she screamed loudly, "Fuck!"
Honor stepped out the bed and headed into the living room. His eyes widened once he noticed a dog sitting on the couch. "Uh E," he yelled catching the attention from the dog. The dog stood up and ran over to him causing him to jump on top of the counter.
"Why are you yel-." She cut herself by screaming and jumping on Honor. "Where did that come from?"
He shrugged watching as the dog stared up at them before laying down. "We did a lot last night," he sighed rubbing his forehead.
Hours later they both cleaned up the house and were not looking at the tattoos. Honor couldn't believe he got that drunk last night and went and got Essence tatted on him. He knew this was bad.
"Sierra is going to kill us," Essence said running around his neck. "What the fuck made us do this?"
Honor shook his head, slightly touched the tattoo on Essence side.
"Aye now people know we friends." He said trying to make the best of the situation but Essence just rolled her eyes. "Look there ain't shit we can do about it."
Honor knew how this look from the outside looking in. It looked like they were a couple who were dumb in love and got each other names tatted. But that's wasn't the case. Essence and Honor simply got drunk out of their minds and did something stupid.
"What about this damn dog?" Essence asked pulling her shirt down. She turned around and watched as Marley looked at them through the glass door.
"He can stay here until we figure out-."
"What is there to figure out Honor? We adopted the damn dog and named him Marley. We cannot just give him back." Essence told him giving him a look.
Honor held his hands up in defense while walking backwards. Essence was grouchy as hell today and he definitely wasn't trying to get on her bad side. She still had a slight hangover from last night -she barely drunk but last night she went over her limit and was facing the consequences. He grabbed his phone watching as Sierra requested to FaceTime him.
"Don't show her the tattoo." she quickly said pulling his dreads on his neck. He answered after the second ring and saw Sierra laying in bed.
"Hey baby, where are you?" She greeted him.
Honor looked back at Essence before turning to him phone. "I'm at E house."
Sierra made a face before smiling, "Can you give her the phone?"
