Chapter III: Flesh & Blood

Ozpin POV
I look at the photo more closely, before I realize something at the background. It was a logo of an abandoned building that was located on a small and abandon location in Vale. I got my cane, stood up and head to the location.

Velvet POV
Dove and Russell are at the end, their feet was covered in blood. They pressed the button, before I did. The doors open, as I immediately got inside the door behind me closes. They walk in, groaning in pain, the other door closes. Before a loud bang can be heard, we look around to see a big white empty room with little holes on the walls, ceiling, and floor. A TV was up above the vault door, it turns on to reveal the puppet again.

???: This is your final step, before you all are set free. In this game, you are all have to do one thing. Wait. The person will open the vault, in the meantime. Wait.

I sit down, thinking what the holes does. Before I smell the scent of gas.

Ozpin POV
I walk down to a building, I head inside carefully. I made sure to search everywhere, while being careful. I walk inside of a room, with a vault door. I walk closer to hear cries of help. I grab the handle, before pushing it downwards to open it. The vault door open slightly, before I pulled it and I open it all the way. I look inside to see a screen with someone sitting in front of it. I walk over to see the puppet. I walk backwards, before I accidentally bump onto something. I look behind me to see a tall, dark person wearing a pig mask. He immediately went for my neck, before he starts to strangle me.

Velvet POV
We waited for what it feels like hours, Russell and Dove were sitting down. I was looking for a way out. Before Dove broke the silence.

Dove: Velvet, just in case if we die. I wanted to say... sorry, sorry for everything we've done to you. We were pricks.

Me: It's fine. All it matters is just getting out of here alive.

He nodded, before he start to pull glass shards out of his feet. I heard footsteps, along with police sirens. I yelled out for help, before Dove and Russell yells out as well. The vault starts to move, before an explosion can be heard and smoke fills the room. We cough, as police came in. They took us outside, it was dark out. They take Russell and Dove back to the hospital. They investigate me for whoever did this, I told them that I don't know who if is. They look at each other.

Investigator: What's your name?

Me: Velvet Scarlatina.

Investigator: Okay, Velvet. I don't want you to be speaking this to anyone or anything, except for the police and us. You got that?

Me: Yes, Sir.

Investigator: Good, we will take you back to the police station.

They take me into a police car, the car drove off, I look behind to see an abandoned factory named "Gideon".
