BACKGROUND// Vera's parents are not elementary benders, and when Vera was born and they found it she was an Earth bender they were a little afraid at first. But eventually Vera learned to master her powers and it became an asset on the farm. As for Vera, she grew up an only child, but that didn't mean she was lonely. For her 7th birthday she received a catowl, named Ajaxx. Vera works around the farm with her parents, but she is also a healer in town. As a metal-bender, it makes it easy to get poison out of people. She also teaches other kids to help master their powers and raise self-control. This was all before she met Aang and his group, and that's when she left her home town to go and help them.

PERSONALITY// Vera has a strong personality, one that makes it hard to impress her. But once she is befriended, she makes a very loyal and compassionate friend. She is very intelligent, as she likes to read and attain information to store for later use. She had a very good memory and often what she reads stays with her. She is very competitive by nature and dedicated to her goals. She can be incredibly stubborn, but she will admit when she's wrong. She is emotionally driven, as she would rather think with her heart than her head. She is found to be sometimes short-tempered and can be a bit of a perfectionist. She tried her best to be optimistic in life, but sometimes she finds its hard to do so. Especially when something seems almost impossible.
