Chapter 2

Third POV

Amaya woke up to the sound of people talking. She got up and quickly changed. She opened the door and looked down from the stairs. She saw all the kids and adults talking. She went downstairs. Everyone looked at her.

"Am-Sakura. You're getting adopted!" Ms. Mao said.

"What?!" Amaya said confused.

"A couple came in and they wanted to adopt you." Ms. Mao said.

"But I don't want to get adopted." Amaya said. Chika came up to her.

"Sakura-Chan! You have to be with a family! To get adopt and be happy! Just like you told us. You want us to get adopted to be with a family to be happy!" Rei said. Amaya went to her height. She smiled.

"But look at me, I'm a bit older than you. I don't think they would want me." Amaya said.

"Of course they will! They will love you like we love love you!" Mikki said as he hugged her. They all hugged Amaya.

"So will you go to their home?" Akemi said. Amaya sighed and smiled.

"Alright. I'll go get my stuff ready." Amaya said.

"We're going to play with Snow one last time as you get ready!" Chika said. Amaya smiled and nodded. They all ran off. Amaya got back up.

"I'll go get ready now." Amaya said. Ms. Mao nodded. Amaya ran up to her room and stared to get her stuff ready.

She took down her posters down and put them away neatly. She took down her family pictures and the pictures she took at the orphanage and snow. She put her clothes and two pairs of shoes in a suit case. Her things for school were in her backpack. She got her guitar and notebook of her music. She put away her guitar in its case and put her music in her binder. She quickly took a shower and changed her outfit.

She went downstairs with her backpack on, her suitcase in her right hand and her guitar in her left hand. She came down the stairs. Ms. Mao was putting Snow on a leash.

"Are you ready?" Ms. Mao said. Amaya sighed.

"I'm nervous." Amaya said.

"Everyone is always nervous." Ms. Mao said. Amaya looked at the children.

"We're going to miss you!" They all said. Amaya smiled.

"I'm going to miss you too." Amaya said.

"Please come back to visit us, Sakura-Chan." Rei said. Amaya smiled.

"Can you guys keep a secret?" Amaya said. They all nodded.

"I'm secretly a princess who has to change her name so no one would know who I really was. Want to know my name?" Amaya said. They all had big smiles on their faces and nodded. "My name is Amaya Yamamoto."

"So you're Princess Amaya!?" Mikki said. Amaya smiled and nodded.

"That's so cool! I've been living with a princess!" A little boy said. Amaya and the staff laughed.

"I'll come back to visit you guys. I promise." Amaya said. Amaya got up and hugged the staff. Then she hugged Ms. Mao and wouldn't let go. "Thank you for everything."

"I'm going to miss you, Amaya." Ms. Mao said smiling at her. She opened the door and there was a car waiting. "That's your ride."

"Thank you for everything guys." Amaya said. Amaya walked to the car. The man grabbed her suitcase and guitar and put it in the back.

"And your backpack, Miss?" The man said.

"It's alright. I can manage." Amaya said. He nodded. He opened the door for her and she got in with snow. He closed the door and went to the driver seat. Amaya put the window down. Everyone started to wave. Amaya waved and smiled.
