Chapter One: Lay It Out in Lavendar
"Nothing you do will make me love you more, nothing you do will make me love you less. I didn't fall in love with you because of what you did but who you are."

"Hah, could you be any more creepy," my best friend, Bella snorted as she shoved her foot into a stunning painting of my face, "you're such a creep! Who told you you could paint a picture of Holly?"
I guess I should clear some things up. Firstly, my name's Holly Miller and the person Bella is talking to is Trevor. He was in my science class and he drew the most amazing pictures! Bella was and still is a very scary person. Everyone secretly called her the 'Belladonna' of Cloverdale High School because just like the flower she's beautiful, but deadly.
I touched Bella's arm, "Come on Bel, just leave him alone. He's perfectly harmless; plus we're almost late. We told Em we'd meet up with her at the mall at 3:50. It's already 3:45!"
She rolled her eyes and let out a groan; which strangely enough, she was still pretty even whilst groaning, "You're such a goody-two-shoes Hol. You're lucky we have much better things to do, dweeb. Next time you try to pull something like this, you are so dead."
With that I tugged her arm towards the door gesturing for her to leave, "Hey Bel, I want to deal with him myself for a sec', I'll catch up in a little."
"Huh? Never thought you'd have it in you Hol. I'll be in the bathroom touching up, come grab me when you're done with the creep," she spat, glaring at Trevor, pursing her lips and squinting her eyes, then turning away and slamming the door behind her.
Clearly Trevor was a lot less scared of me than he was of Bella, "What do you want? Going to call me creepy and kick more of my paintings like her?!"
"Uhh n-no...I just wanted to say that," I took a deep breath, "..that I'm sorry. ...About Bella, the painting was really nice; thank you."
He blinked, "Wait, you...you liked it?"
I chuckled, "Well yeah. It was fantastic, and I'm so flattered that you actually wanted to draw me. I mean Bella would have been a much prettier model to have used and all."
"Of course not!" he squeaked, then right after his face turned bright red, "I-I mean you're...much prettier and umm if you ever wanted to, I would um really like to get to...properly draw you. Uhh you know like with you sitting on a stool or something!"
I blushed, "D-Definitely! I would love to. I'm surprised you'd still want to after the whole...thing with you know who."
We both laughed; not too loudly though, Bella was really only a hallway away from us.
He then stopped and smiled, "Then if you don't mind could I maybe have your number?"
"Hah, of course!"
Just as we finished exchanging numbers the door slammed open, "What's taking you so long?! With the time you spent with..him. I've already, like, redone my make up, like, a ton!"
My eyes widened and my whole body stiffened, "Uhh..uh.. A-And you better not dare try drawing me again, you got that creep?!"
He frowned but then played along, "I-I'm sorry I...I promise not to ever ever do that again!"
"Good," I faked a triumphant smile, then turned to Bella, "shall we go, Bel?"
She smirked, "Well why do you think I even came to get you, let's go already."
