You sighed softly. You were in school, but at least it was the last hour for the day. Glancing at the clock pinned above the door, you softly sighed. Just 30 minutes left of this hellish nightmare that was high school. You rested one elbow on your desk, using your hand to prop your head up. Your other arm found its way to the desk as you softly scooted back in your seat and slightly leaned forward. Your free hand tapped lightly onto the desk, your eyes glued to the clock as if threatening it in order to make time fly faster. You laughed softly to yourself at the thought. You were, for sure, looking like an idiot. As this thought crossed your mind, disappearing just as fast as it had come, you felt your cheeks warm up.
Your gaze glided over the class, only to stop when you spot none other than your best friend, Percy Monroe. Seeing as he still hadn't caught your gaze, you scanned his appearance- a mental image of him already being burned into your mind. You analyzed how his hair, in short and soft waves, framed his face perfectly. His hair was a mid-tone blue, reminding you of the ocean on clear and sunny days. You knew his hair wasn't naturally blue, seeing as blue faded into brunette closer to the roots(and you've known him for practically your whole life. He wasn't allowed to dye his hair until he was 15). You knew he'd have to dye it again sometime in a few weeks from now.
Unfortunately, you could only see the front of his messy locks of blue. This was due to a black beanie being pulled over the back of his head, stopping short a few inches before reaching the front of his head. Scanning his outfit, you smiled. He was always into the simpler fashions. He wore a red and black flannel shirt, black jeans snugly fitting against his legs, slightly bunching at the ankles. To finish it off, he wore black converse high-tops. Your gaze swiftly met his face again, well aware of the fact that you were practically checking out your best friend. You could tell from his posture and eyes that he was bored as hell. His light hazel eyes glazed over with tiredness, his lips slightly parted to release a small sigh, the way the freckles on his cheeks and nose practically disappeared when a hot blush rose to his cheeks at having caught you staring.
The Omega had you completely wrapped around his fing- wait, what? You released a soft gasp, not realizing he had felt your gaze the entire time. Your eyes widened, warmth spreading through your cheeks. Somehow, he was the only one who could get you flustered, and you honestly didn't mind that he somehow knew just the right buttons to press in order to make you swell with nervousness and embarrassment. You swiftly looked down at your lap, now analyzing whether or not what you wore made him feel somewhat as interested as his made you. You wore a maroon sweater, the bottom of a pale blue button up being slightly revealed. You also wore black skinny jeans, a pair of brown boots to finish off your look. You gasped loudly when you heard the bell, signalling the end of the school day, ring.
Swiftly, you rushed to pack up your belongings. Once you were done, you saw you were the last one in class. You understood why everyone wanted to leave so badly- it was a Friday, and your classmates wanted to get as much of their weekend planned out and done before another week of hell was to befall them. But now, as you looked around the room, you could only let the realization sink in that rarely anyone waited on you anymore. Slowly, you began to shuffle towards the door, only to get slapped in the face with the scents of dark chocolate and sweet coconut that had merged into one. You softly smiled, admiring the fact that he had waited, even if you had taken a while. "Hey, Perc-"
"Y/n, I- uh, I have a question..." You slightly tilted your head to the side, a questioning gaze on your face. "Yeah, what is it?" He softly blushed, reaching his hand up to rub at the back of his neck. This was a habit you picked up on when he was either nervous or flustered. "Well, you see, I-I've noticed you s-staring at me quite f-frequently.." You walked and talked your way down the hall, tight grip on your backpack's straps. A soft frown appeared on your lips, thinking he had caught on to you. You slightly smirked when an idea came forth from the depths of your mind. "Percy, how else am I supposed to get fashion advice?" He sighed, knowing full well that you had no idea what to do when it came to putting together an outfit.
