I fiddled with my phone as music I, wasn't really paying attention to, played through the speakers. Today was my birthday party and at said moment the only people that were here are Jared, my boyfriend, Stephanie-who was in the bathroom-Laura, who was laying on my floor, and the most of my family.

By most I mean my brother, my sister in-law, my niece, mom, step dad and a few other people.

"Babe." Jared said scooting closer to me.

I look up from my phone and he takes my chin in my fingers and kisses me softly. A smile stretches across my face and butterflies erupt from my tummy.

We've been together since eight grade, now as juniors he still gives me that first kiss feeling.

My phone vibrates in my hand and it's just a notification from Facebook. I chose to ignore it and head over to kik. I pull up Destiny's kik name and kik her.

Yo, bītch you still coming?

It didn't take her long to reply back.

Im leaving the house now nīgga bítch.

A smile touches my face and I let out a laugh.

Well hurry up.

Steph comes back into the room with a smile on her face.

"What's got you so happy?" I arch my brow.

"Let's get this party started." She pumps her hands in the hair and speaks in her normal soft, yet high pitched peppy voice.

As she does this her boobs jiggle in her too small of a bra and to tight of a shirt. I look over at Jared and he's watching her make a fool of her self with amusement. I felt a hint of jealousy and smacked him in the chest.

"Ow." He looked down at me.

I give him an innocent smile and stand up from my bed. He stands up with me and I push him back down.

"I'm only waiting for Destiny, you can stay here." I grab my phone and start heading out. "Talk to Laura or something." I turn back around.

"Hey, I'm here to." Steph frowns and I look at her.

"I know sweetheart I know. You're or something." I pat her on her shoulder and she pouts.

I swear sometimes she's more of a blonde than me at times and I'm a natural blonde.

I head into the living room where my family is crowded about and sit on the floor and begin to play with my niece. She's 8 months on and just the cutest thing ever.

It takes Destiny all but ten minutes to get here and when I walk outside she's talking to her mom through the window. I slowly creep up behind her and when she turns around she lets out a slight scream. I laugh and she's pulls me into a hug.

"I hate you so much." She lets me go and we head back into my house. "My mom gets on my nerves." She mutters.

"Why?" I ask look over at her.

"Because she's mad at me because I supposedly lied about spending the night at your party when I didn't." a frown falls on her lips but she instantly wipes it away as we enter my house.
