Persephone's parents are notorious bio-engineers, so the family has quite a bit of money. Neither of them have powers, but they are the people who gave Persephone her powers. Since Percy's parents did provide the powers, they're open to any other powers and they're okay with superpowers being used around the house. They do ask that Percy tries to suppress her aerokinesis, though, as that one is a bit more messy.
