Alison's POV

Yayyyyyy we moving to a new state, I'm so ecstatic..... cue the eye roll. Thanks a lot dad and his work.

Well that was not a nice introduction, I am Alison Cummings, first of all my life sucks and secondly my life sucks.

Growing up has been quite hard for me but who wants a sappy story now, you will find all the hot tea later in the book so keep your tea cups on standby.

Right now I'm in the car sitting next to my annoying older brother waiting to reach the destination labelled 'new home' and along with it comes a 'new school'. I just want to get this over and done with already.

"Welcome to our new home kids" mom finally says after what feels like ages. "Kieran son, help your dad with the boxes will you, while Alison and I are go do a little house  inspection."

I internally groan, who wants to do house inspection when you can explore the neighborhood for any hideouts to escape to. The house is a beautiful white and grey structure, nothing too fancy for my taste. We were average people, as I would like to believe. Dad is a doctor and mom is a lawyer but unlike any usual busy parents, mine never let my brother and I feel as if we are alone. They always there when we need them.

Mom and I walk up the two white steps leading up to the door. "You ready for this honey?" she asks.

"Can't hate it until you try it right mom", I say unenthusiastically before opening the door and stepping into my new home.

I hear mom sigh before she joins me inside. If I thought the outside looked beautiful, the inside was even better. The living room had a large mahogany table which could seat 12 people, there were a few paintings hung around the cream colored walls and in the center was a beautiful crystal chandelier hanging from the grey colored ceiling. Further to the left was a door which I'm assuming leads the kitchen. On the right side was a mahogany staircase, one leading up and one leading down. Further on the right side away from the staircase was an empty living room, waiting to be filled with furniture but it also had a chandelier. I race upstairs to find the best room, when reaching the top I am met with a long hallway with grey colored walls and there were about 5 rooms, one of which seems to be a type of study. I walk past them all to the very last bedroom which was beautiful in size. The walls were cream with splatters of grey, there was a few steps inside the room leading to the lower part of the room which had a walk in closet and a bathroom, the top half was where my bed would come and my dresser.

Yup this was definitely going to be my new room. "Mom, I found my room!" I scream to my mom from upstairs. "Okay honey, just make sure its clean before you unpack your things and get settled."

Have I mentioned that my mom has a case of OCD, everything needs to be perfect for her. Sometimes I wonder ....

I get my stuff from the trunk and put all the boxes on the lower level of my room. I walk to my window which overlooks a little park with kids going insane and a little pond smack bang in the middle.

"Looking for a new hideout I see" I shriek with the sudden voice and turn around to see my brother leaning against the door frame. I roll my eyes at him and he chuckles. "Aren't you supposed to be unpacking and get ready for the new school tomorrow?" I ask my brother as I start packing my clothes into my walk in closet already imagining all the fashion shows I'd host inside. Damn I could definitely get used to this.

"I don't need to get ready baby sis, school is going to be great as well as the ladies" he winks at me before leaving. "Pig" I scream after him and I can hear his chuckles fading with his retreating form.

Did I forget to mention my brother is a major chick magnet. Its like everywhere he goes they are there. And the worst part is that they always try to get to him through me, as if I wanna be all buddy buddy with my brother's hook ups.

Guess its going to be a long day tomorrow...

A/N Welcome to Alison's world guys...basically she is getting settled in and preparing for the new school tomorrow. What do you guys think about the escape hideouts?
