Corpse Party (Ayumi+Yoshiki)

Chapter 2: The Ghost

   "Oh my god!" Ayumi shrieked.
   "What in the hell is that?!" Yoshiki said.
   "It's--It's a corpse!!!" Ayumi screamed and ran towards Yoshiki who was behind her. He caught her and got red in the face. 
   "Uh--Ayumi?" Yoshiki said. 
    "That's so gross! Is that real?? There's blood everywhere!! I just--I feel so..." Ayumi stopped talking and fainted. 
   "Ayumi!" Yoshiki yelled. He started to shake her but she wouldn't come too. Crap what do I do? Yoshiki though to himself. 
   "You can't help her. Don't you know that?" A strange lower voice came from behind Yoshiki while he was holding Ayumi. Yoshiki's eyes widened, he was afraid to turn around, so he just talked back without looking at it.
   "What do you mean I can't help her?" Yoshiki asked with concern in his voice, he looked down at Ayumi.
   "The darkness is already taking over her, she will go insane before you guys can get out of here." The low voice started to laugh sounding insane itself. Yoshiki put Ayumi down slowly and got frustrated and finally turned around to meet his conversationalist. 
   "I will help her!" Yoshiki yelled. He realized what he was staring at just this faint blue light, it was like a ball of flame. "What the-?" Yoshiki was confused at what exactly he was staring at.
   "Unless you can find a way to make her keep her sanity, you're useless. Just like your affection for her." Yoshiki's eyes grew wide once again shocked at what this thing had said. "Every time she feels a pounding in her head she's growing closer to the dark depths like the corners in this hell of a place. She will then die here just like everyone else who has entered these spaces. Although I doubt you will find anyway to save her." The voice started to laugh and fade away. Once it was gone Yoshiki wasn't sure what to think. What was this thing talking about? Could he really not save her? That's all Yoshiki's goal was, was to save Ayumi even if he had to die in the process. He didn't care, he would do anything for her. He turned back to were Ayumi was laying down and rushed back to her side. 
   "Ayumi?" he said faintly. Please wake up... Yoshiki said to himself. Ayumi started to cough. Yoshiki started to bring her upright. "Are you okay??" Yoshiki asked. His eyes were full of his love for Ayumi, and she noticed.
   "Um...yeah?"She sat up and kind of pushed herself away from Yoshiki. "Just need some air. Ugh...my head is pounding" Oh no... Yoshiki said to himself. "Well I'm sure it's nothing." Yoshiki said tucking his hand behind his head. "You will be fine, just need some rest is all." He smiled.
    "You're probably right, isn't there an infirmary in here that we passed?"Ayumi asked.
   "Um, I think so. You want to head over there?" Yoshiki said.
   "Yeah I think that would be the best idea." Ayumi said holding her head. It was really pounding she had to close her eyes to try and stop thinking of the pain.
