Dad?!

Recap:

The person looked up and I did not believe what I was seeing...

Dad?! My dad is standing right in front of me. My first instinct was to run up to him and hug him. Which that is what I did. He immediately hugged me back tightly.

"I thought you were dead dad." I said into his chest.

"I know and I'm sorry for what I did Y/n. But I had no choice. If I didn't do what I did than they would have killed you and I couldn't let them kill my daughter." He says stroking my hair.

"Then who exactly did I see be killed then?" I asked as I looked up to him.

"That was one of my men. I told him to dress up like me and to protect you." My dad says looking in my eyes.

"Y/n that man that you saw get killed he was my Uncle." Jungkook says. I looked to him than back to my dad who is nodding his head as a yes.

"But why did your uncle sacrifice his life for mine?" I said.

"He didn't hair do it for you. He did it for both of us. So we could be together." He says to me.

"Oh. You knew that my dad was alive the whole time." I ask Jungkook nods in response.

" They all did. I stayed with Jungkook's parents. Don't be mad at them they were only doing what I told them to do. I told them to not tell you that I was still alive." He says.

"I understand if your mad at me for what I did. And I won't be surprised if you hate me for it as well but I just wanted you to know that I am still alive and that I did what I did to protect you Y/n." He adds. I shake my head at him and hugged him.

"I'm not mad at you dad. And I could never bring myself to hate you. I understand why you did what you did. It was to protect me and if I was you I would have done the same exact thing you did. I'm just glad your alive." I said hugging him tightly he hugged me back.

"I want to start fresh with you. Like your mum has." he says I pulled away from him nodding my head.

"I would love that." I said.

"By the way your mum knew I was still alive. I told her to start new with you. After all she is still your mum and my wife even though she did leave us. I still loved her and she still loves me." he said I nod.

"Can we go home now?" I ask Jungkook he nods.

"Yeah we can go home now." He says with a smile.

"Come and stay with us at our mansion dad. We have one last room and it's ready and waiting for someone to love in it." I said and he nods.

We all then left and went home. I fell asleep in the back seat with Jungkook as my dad drove us back home.

One month later.

It's been a month since my dad came back into my life even though he was never really gone. We are very close again, I told him everything about my life starting from the day after Jungkook's uncle was killed. And when I say I told him everything I told him everything, from me joining the special forces, to building the mansion and the fact that Jungkook and I are engaged.

We plan to get married in the spring so my dad chose the perfect time to tell me everything. I'm just glad that I finally know the truth about what happened that night and that I gave my dad back in my life even though he was never really gone.
