Raven and The Beast

(Raven's POV)

The first day we met, I despised him. He was impossible to be around without blowing a fuse. I never thought anyone could be as mind numbingly dumb as him. But one day I had just been laughed at by some of my brothers. They told me I could never be as good as I think I am. They told me to just give in to being evil. I blasted them and ran off to the tower crying.

Then he came and sat by me. "Are you ok?" said Beast Boy. I ignored him. He tried to put his arm around me but I growled. He quickly pulled away. "You know, you're doing great. If you keep up this super hero thing, you can defeat that demon side of you," he told me. I looked up at him. He grinned and I blushed a little under my cloak. I smiled slightly and I saw a certain gleam in his eyes that made me realize it was better to run back to my room than to stay sitting by him. As I leaned against my locked door, I learned that he could be sweet and even a little cute....Ok, a lot cute. But I could never admit it...

I was sitting alone in my room, trying to meditate. I say trying because a certain annoying green parrot keeps asking me questions. "Can pigs fly? What if flies couldn't fly; would they still be called flies?" Beast Boy went on. I couldn't take it after an hour of this. "WILL YOU PLEASE GO BUG SOMEONE ELSE," I said angrily in a way that seems only for him. He looked at me for a while with a raised eyebrow, like he wasn't convinced at how angry I was. Finally, I just picked him up, opened my door, and threw him as hard as I could. I closed my bedroom door and got back to my meditation.

Later...

There was an emergency at the center of Jump City. Robin called for everyone to join him and his new best friend/girlfriend, Starfire. After saying his famous "Titans, Go!" line, we were off to saving the city again. On our way out there, Beast Boy purposely bumped into me. My eyes went ablaze. "Can't you watch where you're go-" I started as he cut me off. "Slow your roll, baby, you can cuddle with me later." he said in his best flirtie voice. I rolled my eyes and went faster, leaving him in the dust. I hope he didn't notice that I was blushing...

The monster wasn't bigger than what we expected and got taken down fairly easily. Although I had a few tears in my cloak here and there, everyone was fine. Well, I was almost fine. Beast Boy took this as yet another opportunity to mess with me. He put one hand around me,which I struggled to get free from, and the other to examine my clothing. "Woah, you've been working hard, Rave. Do you want me to carry you?" he said tenderly which I found a mocking tone. "No! I'm fine!" I said speeding past him again. "Oh, come on!" I heard him say in the distance. "Are you gonna go after her again?" Robin asked. "No, I'll just let her cool down. I've already chased her 5 times today," he said disappointed.

After getting in the tower, I teleported to my room and locked all the locks I could find that would fit on my door. I covered windows and any other place I could find with an opening. 'That should keep him out', I thought. Starfire made her way into my room as easily as I could. "You know, it is okay to express some of your feelings," she said and then she left.   

After battling one of my half brothers, my clothes were in ruins. They covered me as if it was a swimsuit but I didn't care. It didn't feel right to steal clothes from people so I just went home. I had a closet full of cloaks so I think I'm alright. Come to think of it, I think I left one lying around at home.

When I got to the tower, everyone was trying to comfort me....sort of. "Beast Boy, can you give me my cloak? It's on the couch beside you," I said. "Sure..." he said staring at me. "Don't worry Raven, everything is ok now." said Robin. "Yes dear friend. I am very sorry you had to go through what you did." said Starfire. "Yeah, I'm sorry to." said Cyborg. Everyone stared at Breast Boy, waiting for him to say something. He just stood there staring me up and down. I started to feel more conscious of how much skin I was showing. I tried to cover myself with my hands. "Why are you almost naked?!" he said drooling a little. My eyes were on fire again and my skin burned with fury. "I told you to hand me my cloak! It'sright beside you!" I yelled. After five seconds. He finally understood what I said. He grabbed my cloak and held it out to me, not hypnotized anymore. I walked over to him and snatched it out of his hand.
