Dare with the devil

I sit up and gasp

"What a nightmare... it felt like it was real.." I say wiping my sweat from my nightmare

"It's real Baby" a person with a deep voice says. I look to my left and shake my head and scream

I laugh loudly and my best friend Irene laughs with me

"Jeez we were idiots" she laughs

"We're still idiots" we laugh harder

"I can't believe we stayed best friends I would've left myself a long time ago" she laughs

"I would've left myself too" i say

My best friend Irene and me love to talk about our past but here's a history lesson about us, Me and Irene grew up together.. as children our parents knew each other and they had us together all the time. I never had siblings so she was a sibling to me, my unnie. In middle school she was always there for me and took care of me like I was her little sister, High school not much of a difference except she moved to another school which was fine but I was lonely, But right now senior year in high school she has to move to China for 3 years so you know I'm not that very patient so me and her decided that we would hang out on her last days before she leaves

"Ugh the house in China is beautiful I wish you could come along but my appa said it's business related.. yeah ok because bringing your daughter with you for business related stuff doesn't make sense" she rolls her eyes "But I'm going to bring back a bunch of stuff from China to Korea for us to keep"I clap

"I hope you have fun in China" I smile

"Thanks I feel bad for leaving you here in Korea Ugh I wish you could come along" She cries. I giggle

"Maybe I could convince my parents to let me visit at least once" I say. She nods

"Yes! That would be awesome we could have so much fun in China!" She says and smiles brightly

"Bora, Irene it's late you girls should be sleeping now" my eomma says

"Ne!" Me and Irene say and get into bed

"Good night girls" she says turning off the lights and closing the door

"Bora.."

"Hm?" I say and face Irene

"Have you ever played something that involved the dead?"

"Irene my parents would kill me if they find out" I say

"I've heard you can play with devil"

"Dancing with the devil?" I ask. She nods

"But it's dangerous to play with him, especially since he's hard to contact and everyone eventually goes crazy after meeting him and they get cursed from him" she says "apparently he curses them for waking him up" she says yawning

"How can you play?"

"I'm not sure but I don't want to do it"

"Me either it sounds like too much work" I say and Irene giggles

"Yep and too scary" she says

We both yawn

"Good night Irene.." I say

"Good night Bora" she says and we both fall asleep

I wake up in the middle of the night to whispers in my ear...

I look at Irene who is still fast asleep and I look around my room and notice a red tail poking out. I get up and walk towards it

"Beautiful" the voice whispers "your mine" it says and I feel a sting in my neck, I wince in pain and hold my neck. I hear the voice laugh and all the whispers go away. I feel my neck and seems as if nothing is wrong with it

'I must be hallucinating....'I think to myself. I walk back to my bed and sleep

"You aren't Baby your mine.." a voice says in my ear and I sit up

"What do you want?" I ask

"Yo.." it interrupted by my eomma who walks in

"Bora go to bed" she says and closes the door

"Ok" I say to my eomma and tuck in

"Sweet" the voice says slowly

"Nightmares.." it says and the voice stops speaking from there

Sweet nightmares? I'm guessing they meant sweet dreams but whatever. I close my eyes and fall asleep again

I wave to the car taking Irene away and he waves as it drives off

"Nice friend" I hear a voice say, I turn around to see nothing

"You can't see me baby" it says. I roll my eyes

"How can I see you?" I ask with no interest and walk to my house

"You'll find out soon baby" he says

I know it's a male by its voice but I have no idea what he looks like but then again i might be hallucinating
