She's just a girl who lives in a small town.
Everyday, no matter how hard she tries, all she does is frown.
Nobody ever bothers to ask her why.
Nobody even notices when she cries.
She tries so hard at everything in life.
But no matter what she does, nothing is ever right.
She can't find safety from the thoughts running rampid through her head.
The ones telling her that she's better off dead.
Maybe she'll do it, finally give in.
. . . maybe that way she could finally find some peace within.
(Alright, this is the first free hand poem I've ever written. I'm sorry it sucks lol. .)
