Chapter 5 Date

Lea's POV

Night time

I'm now lying in my bed thinking what had happened earlier about Angelo but the more I remember the more I feel my heartbeat racing I know that he only needs to be comforted at that time but I can't really let it go, his hands are so warm and soft I mean it's the first time I felt that I'm safe in someone's arms but no matter how or what I think about him, Angelo has a crush on that girl and I also have a crush on Andrew, I think Angelo got rejected from that girl and if he really likes her then from that time earlier he should've gone out and went to the girl or follow them but what do I know I really don't know what's their story is and what happened between them so I must investigate.

"What time is it?" I asked myself

I look at my phone to see that it's already 9:40 PM I must be ready for tomorrow's date I don't want Andrew seeing me with eyebags. I turn off the lights then went to sleep.

Dream

"Lea do you like that stuffed teddy bear?" I heard a familiar voice asking me but I don't see anyone with me.

I'm now on a feild of flowers skipping happily then I heard again the familiar voice earlier calling me

"Lea be careful you might trip" the familiar voice said his voice was quite low and soft I know him but I just can't put it together

Then after a while of skipping on the feild, I trip and it rained horribly then after I knew it I'm now in a different place

Many people are crowding me and my head is dripping a little blood I look at my surroundings to see that we had a car accident then I look at the person who is beside me, I saw a familiar face that I can't seem to see clearly and then I fainted.

Awake

I woke up from my dream which is kind of weird to see that I have been sweating while I'm asleep. I tried to get my phone on the table to see that it's already 8:00 AM I went down to the kitchen to see that my mom is already preparing breakfast

"Morning!" I said

"Goodmorning, come and let's eat breakfast" my mom said

I sitted down and then eat my breakfast.

"So how was school" my mom said

"Oh it's ok" I answered

"Sorry if I don't get to spend a lot of my time with you, I've always been busy with work but I promise next time I will make it up to you" my mom said holding my hand

"Hmm" I said then smiled

It has always been like this since Dad died if he's still alive right now I'm sure he's the one working but he's gone now and there's nothing more we could do so mom is the one who's working and because of work, sometimes I'm home alone and since mom has no time for house chores I'm the one doing it if she have a  day off she would be spending here in the house resting for the whole day. Well that's how it always been so I've been getting the hang of it but I'm really proud at my mom being so brave and tough all the time there's no time I saw her soft and weak except for dad's funeral I remember she's always crying every night and when I went up to her I would always see her wiping her tears away and putting up a smile on her face just to let me see that she's fine.

"Oh I have to go now Lea or I'll be late for work" mom said  getting her bag

I get up from my seat then went to to her to give her a kiss on the cheek and then hug her.

"Ok I'll go now, there's some money on the counter if incase you get hungry or go out later"

"Mmm ok, be safe when going to work" I said

"Ok thank you I'll go now love you bye" mom said waving her hand then went to work

"Mmm love you too bye" I said waving my hand then closed the door

Well I guess I'll do the chores first before going to take a shower later.

Timeskip

"Hah I'm done atlast" i said to myself

I streched my body and went to the kitchen to see if there's any food. I opened the refrigirator to see that there's some biscuits left, I got them out then went to the living room to seat on the sofa and then eat the biscuits.

"Well let's see I've cleaned my room and mom's room, already finished the laundry, done everything in the kitchen even here in the living room, I've wiped the windows remove some spiderwebs in each corner, everything is done all that's left is" I said looking at the clock

"It's already 1:30 PM!!!" I said

"How long had I've been cleaning?" I said

I went up to my room to get myself ready for the date.

Well I know it's still early to be panicking but even though the date is in 3:00 PM I still need to be punctual it is not good for me to be late for my first date and maybe  it'll take a long time for me to get ready since I need to be presentative in my apperance. I went to the bathroom to take a shower.

Timeskip

After a while, I'm almost ready to go since it's 2:30 PM, I still need to look at myself at the mirror if there's anythjng more I could change in my clothes, I'm now wearing a white shirt with a pink jumper skirt that is just above my knees a little and a pair of pink shoes. After I looked at myself  I went to my closet to get my small pink slingbag then went down stairs to get the money mom left me with then head out.

Timeskip

After a while of walking, I'm now at the park and now going to meet Andrew at the fountain.

I saw Andrew sitting on the bench that is just infront of the fountain, Andrew saw me then wave his hands, I also wave my hand then went up to him.

"Sorry are you waiting here for a while?" I asked

"No I just got here a while ago" Andrew answered

"Oh I thought that I was late" I said

"No you're not late I was just early" Andrew said and smiled

I smiled at him back, then...

"Let's go!" Andrew said

"Mmm!" I said then my tummy started rumbling a little but its loud enough to hear for the both of us. I didn't had lunch earlier I just ate that biscuit for my snack. After hearing my tummy rumbled Andrew laugh a little then

"Well let's eat first" Andrew said with a smile

"Ummm yeah" I said smiling a little because of embarrasment

We went to a fancy restaurant that I have never gone to before. We went inside and take a seat then a waiter came to us and give us the menu, I looked at the menu then my eyes widened

"Pssst Andrew" I whispered to him

"Mmm?" He said

"Isn't it a bit expensive to eat here?" I whispered to him

"Oh no it's my treat" Andrew said

"Are you sure?" I said

"No it's fine besides I'm the one who let you eat here so it's my treat so don't worry" he said and smiled

"Oh, if you say so" I said then back at looking the menu.
