A New Fate {Alucard x Reader}

Ch. 1 - {The Hunt}

After a week of searching for his prey, the vampire was finally able to pin down the new threat. It was quite tricky since this specific vampire is a smart one. He blended well among with the livings to the point he would not drink rightaway from them which minimalized . This made his scent not too strong and he was able to hide his scent by living together with a human. And unfortunenately, that human was the young girl named (Y/N) that The No-Life-King met upon his first appearance at the city. He found that out as one of his bats took on the vampire's scent whilst he was out on a night stroll and followed him to the female's house.

It seemed that she wasn't aware of who she had just let in to her lovely home. Alucard tipped his red fedora down and sighed, "Humans should be more careful with their surroundings, you'll never know who you're interacting with until they show you their real side." He hoped that the female really was innocent as in she hasn't been actually helping the vampire like purposely hiding him or feeding him of her own blood.

On that very same day during the early evening, Alucard spotted (Y/N) walking out a mart. He smirked to himself as he walked over to the female, using his suit as if he had just came back from a meeting. His long black hair flowed behind his back as he strolled his way through.

"Good evening, Lady (Y/N)." He greeted with his pale lips pulled into a small curve of smile. The female turned her head around, surprised to see the male. "Ah! Good evening Mr. Brenner! You're still here!" She greeted back with a huge smile of her own. "Have you just come back from a meeting?" She asked the bigger man. He only nodded at her.

"What about you? Buying some groceries?" He looked over to the items in her hand. "Yes, would you like to come over my place for dinner?" She offered him with a kind smile.

'Such a perfect chance like how I wanted it to be' Alucard thought to himself as he smirked mentally. "Sure, I'd love to," he accepted her offer with his gentle smile. Her (E/C) eyes sparkled with happiness as he accepted.

They soon walked together side by side. The walk was silent but it wasn't awkward as the sun began to hide its presence and the moon began to show its presence. Soon enough, they reached the female's home. It was a small home with 2 bedrooms, 1 toilet, 1 living room and 1 kitchen, and a small yard. It was a cozy home for her.

She took her keys out of her pocket and opened the door, "Welcome to my humble house," she stood on the door side, giving the man a way to come in. "You lived here alone?" He asked as he stepped through the door. She closed the door behind him before answering, "Yes, but recently there was a couple who seemed to be lost and asked for a place to stay so I let them stay with me for awhile," (Y/N) answered before showing him the way to the living room where the mentioned couple who were the new vampires were sitting.

As soon as they spotted the house owner along with the tall man, it felt like the temperature suddenly dropped as Alucard gave them a grin. The pair seemed to have known who he was. "My, my are these the couple you were talking about (Y/N)?" His red eyes locked to the couple where the male had blond hair and a fair body whilst the female had long brown hair and curvy body.

"Yes they are, please have a seat." (Y/N) offered Alucard kindly. "Mr. Brenner they are Archus and Seriah." She turned to the couple, "Archus, Seriah, meet Mr. Brenner. He is our guest for the night." She introduced them to each other innocently without knowing what kind of event might unfold after this. For most of the time the couple was staying at (Y/N)'s place, she had been very kind to them which made them felt guilty for hiding their true identities from her.

The tension seemed to rise after the introduction and (Y/N) sweatdropped at this. "Uh.. I'll make some tea for you guys." She excused herself to the kitchen as she was unsure on how to deal with the tension.

While the female was at the back, Alucard took this chance to have 'chat' with his prey. Finally, his hunt would come to the final conclusion. "So what are you guys doing in this place?" He asked with his grin still present as he sat on the couch across from the couple.

"W-well.. we are here for.. a vacation," Archus answered hesistantly whilst his hand gripped Seriah's as if they were about to do a run soon. Alucard who noticed their movement let out a deep chuckle, "Come now, we don't have to be so rigid in each other's presence right? Or is there something else bothering you?"

"N-no, we are both good.. what about you, Mr. Brenner?" Came Seriah's question. Upon hearing this question, Alucard's grin grew wider as if it was possible. "I am here for a hunt. I am hunting two new species here.." his fangs began to show itself to the couple which made shiver ran down the couple's back.

"P-please spare us.." Archus begged the male, knowing exactly what he meant by his hunt. This made Alucard shook his head and rose his index finger up, swaying it in a way of no. "Nu uh uh~ you don't get to decide that." But before neither of them could move, (Y/N) came back to the room with a tray of tea.

"I made an earl grey tea, please enjoy yourself.." she said as she poured them the tea. However, as she was about to offer them, Archus had made a move and was about to strike (Y/N) with his fist but Alucard who was still in disguise managed to caugh the male's fist and twisted it, earning a loud crack. (Y/N)'s (E/C) widened in surprise as she backed up against the wall.

Alucard was standing infront of her now, intending to protect her from the new born. Seriah rose up from her seat as Archus cursed in pain of his now dislocated fist. "Seriah! Run!" Archus told her but she insisted in staying there or helping the male. She stood next to Archus and throw punches to Alucard in which he easily dodge before sending his own punch right onto the female's stomach, sending her flying across the room and hit the wall. She coughed up blood. "SERIAH!" Archus shouted as his eyes went red blood and ran to punch Alucard.

"Now now, don't be so hype out, you can't even heal that tiny wrist." Alucard mocked with his signature smirk as he blocked the punch easily and countered with his own but Archus was empowered with his rage and managed to parry the vampire's punch.

"Wow~ you can still pack a punch, eh?~" The Nosferatu mocked even more as he took a punch which made a hole through his stomach. Archus stared up at him in disbelief before his arm grabbed by Alucard with brute force as he pulled Archus' fist out of his stomach, regenerating himself. "And here I thought that the two of you would give a lot of fun,, but I was wrong, you're just like any others greenie vampire. What made you seems like a new breed is just the way you're living." He spat in genuine disgust. Alucard began to transform to his usual form which was clad in red and his hair grew shorter to his shoulder length.

While the event was unfolding infront of the female, she only watched as her eyes widened like a saucer. (Y/N) was totally in a safe place as Alucard would protect her and the couple didn't want to hurt her after her kindness. "Please.. stop.." she uttered helplessly. The count heard her plead but he knew better that Sir Integra wouldn't be pleased if he were to let their prey go.

Seriah tried to escape through the front door but it won't budge as Alucard had placed his shadow to hold the door. He took out his Casull gun with his free hand that wasn't holding Archus and shot twice towards Seriah, one bullet went through her head and the other went through her heart. It was a clean shot. She soon turned into a pile of dust. Archus wanted to scream her name out but nothing came out of his throat.

Alucard turned his gaze towards the male that he was holding. "H-hei! W-we didn't do anything!! P-please let me go.." he cried but of course, The Nosferatu wouldn't even bat an eye towards the vampire's plead. He kept the male in place, but Archus was struggling to the point he pulled himself back and his arm was torn off of his body from Alucard's firm grip. He fell to the floor, scrambling back only to have Casull redirected in between his eyes. "That was a great attempt!" Alucard announced with great amusement behind his voice. "Any last word?" He readied his finger to pull the trigger. "Y-you are going to be damned!!" Archus cursed at him which made Alucard laughed loudly before pulling the trigger, leaving Archus turned into ashes as well.

"W-what.. h-had ju..st happened?" (Y/N) breathe out as she fell onto her butt, her back leaned against the wall. Alucard turned to her as the room was a complete mess. "I'm sorry Miss, but.." he sighed as he didn't plan for her to see this, but since she has seen this, there was no other choice. He disappeared before reappearing behind her and knocked her out cold, planning to bring her back to the Hellsing quarters.
