Nick puts the phone down, an annoyed sigh pierces his lips. "He's late again, isn't he." Nick turns around, to find Kathy staring inquisitively. Her dusty blonde bangs wave across her face, while her turquoise gems glitter.
"Of course, has he ever even given a shit about us?" Nick responds, rhetorically. Kathy hides her hands behind her back, her short stature straight, like a soldier.
"Yes, he does! I bet he has been busy with work or chores... or something." Her words soften as she struggles to think. "M-maybe I'll take a look outside." Just as she turns, Nick catches her arm, stopping her from leaving.
"Babe, you've checked many times over the past half an hour. He ain't coming." She turns to face him, her gaze seeps through his dark red eyes.
"I know. Its been ages, that's all." She places her hand on his, smiling innocently. A ringing of bells causes the pair to turn their gaze to the door of the Cafe. In walks a tall figure, his face hid behind a navy blue mask and his head behind his black hoodie, a blonde fringe covers his forehead. He looks over to the couple, pulling down the mask showing his face. His eyes a beautiful ocean blue, yet only his right eye appears to be open, his left hidden away by a jagged scar. He gives them a small smile and makes for the two.
