I cried as I held onto my new fiancé. I was trying to make sense of what just happened but it wasn't making sense. How could someone who was striving to protect me just willingly hand me over to the person they are trying to protect me from?
We rode all the way downtown into the beautiful city where the gang and my uncle were ordered to head in another direction.
"I'll see you guys in about 3 days. Katrina and I have some vows to read tonight." Brock said.
I gasped and nearly hopped off of the bike. "What do you mean tonight?"
He laughed, "I'm not going to do what Taker did and try to wait things out until you get use to me. You're mine doll and that's final."
Before I could make the decision to get off of the bike, he revved the engine and we rode deeper into the city. We went to a place called the Love Chapel Hotel a place where you could get married at any moment in time. He parked the bike in front of the hotel and then drug me inside by my arm. We were greeted by the pastor of the chapel who directed this woman with short blonde hair to take me into a private room to get dressed. I highly contemplated trying to escape but as soon as the door shut, the woman pointed a gun directly at my head.
"Don't even think about it sweetness." She said with a stern look. "You're going to marry my brother whether you like it or not."
I clenched my fists at my sides, "So…that worthless oath is your brother? I knew you two looked like twins…"
She cocked the gun, "If you didn't have to marry him I would shoot you right now…go pick out a wedding dress you don't have that much time."
I sighed and turned towards the rack that had all the wedding gowns hanging up. I went through each of them carefully until I found one that matched my style. It was a strapless organza ball gown with a sweetheart neckline and a huge tule skirt. The evil bitch helped me fix my hair up into a tight bun and then placed a tiara and a veil on my head.
"There…now you look like a worthy bride." She said. "Wait here, I'll go see if Brock is ready yet."
I rolled my eyes as she left the room. As soon as she was gone, I ran up to the door and locked it and then began looking around the room for a way out. There was a window in the back left corner or the room so I went there. I was just about to open it when I saw Hunter, Jeff, and Orlando standing in the parking lot out back. They were looking up at me each of them holding a finger to their lips. What in the world were they doing here?
I backed away from the window and headed to the door. I unlocked it and opened it to see Brock's sister hugging her brother.
"I'm happy for you." She said. "That bastard didn't deserve to have everything you've got now. It's only fitting you also marry the woman he wants as well."
Brock released her with a smile. "This is true…now if you don't mind I would like to speak to my blushing bride before the ceremony."
"Oh no bro, you know it's bad luck to see the bride before the wedding." She said.
"Tiffany…just get out of my way." He said before she gladly stepped aside. I backed away from the door and watched as he stepped into the room. He stopped upon sight of me and then smiled.
"Wow…you look beautiful." He told me.
I rubbed the back of my neck and turned away from him. "I don't want to do this."
