Ricci fetched me at my unit earlier to celebrate our anniversary. I saw his message to me on Instagram, hindi ko na lang pinansin yung I Love You part cause I know he didn't mean it it's all part of the act, but I did mean it, it took me a while before I admitted it but yes, mahal ko na siya.
Pupunta kami ngayon sa Tagaytay because according to him, we had a bad memory in Tagaytay and we need a new one. Hindi ko alam kung bibigyan niya ba ako ng regalo but I still bought him a gift, alam ko na useless lang if ever I get him yung mga shoes na kagaya nung mga natatanggap niya or shoes in general kasi marami na siyang ganon. So, I got him the Brazza Wallet from Louis Vuitton, pero mamaya ko na ibibigay pagkauwi.
"Saan tayo pupunta?" I asked to break the silence. "Secret, it's a surprise," He said and I just nodded.
"Hindi naman overnight, diba?" Sinabi ko lang para may mapag-usapan lang, ang tahimik kasi namin kanina pa.
"Gusto mo ba? Pwede naman," Wow ah. "Kahit hindi na, kahit sa Manila nga lang okay na sa akin eh," I said and smiled at him.
"Akala mo sa Tagaytay lang tayo mag cecelebrate? Babe, we'll also celebrate in Manila, okay?" Wow, isang araw lang ang anniversary pero balak ata niya gawing one week, hay nako, this guy talaga.
"Huh? Ang gastos naman kung ganon,"
"Kailangan kong bumawi sa mga panahon na wala akong kwentang boyfriend," Sabi niya, ay may paganon si kuya guy.
"Hindi ka naman naging walang kwenta ah, if you're thinking about my IG post, mema lang 'yon," I said, although medyo hindi siya mema.
"Nakita mo 'ko may kalandian sa condo ko, diba? Mema? Pati yung I Love You, mema?" Kailangan pati yan itatanong?
"Yung I Love You mo rin naman mema ah," Natahimik siya and his stare became cold. "Look, ayoko mag-away tayo," Nakatingin lang ako sa daan habang sinasabi yun.
"Bakit?" He asked.
"Ayoko lang..."
"You're too nice for me," Sabi niya at sumulyap siya nang saglit sa akin, I smiled.
Ayaw ko na matapos 'to.
"And I don't mind being too nice to you..."
He didn't say anything, he just grabbed my hand and intertwined it with his. "You're driving," I stated.
"Kaya ko."
Wala gaanong traffic ngayon kaya medyo mabilis kami nakarating sa Tagaytay, wala pa rin akong alam kung saan man kami pupunta.
I found out na sa Antonio's pala kami kakain for lunch, maganda naman dito kaso sobrang mahal naman dito.
We sat down and ordered. "And a bottle of Chardonnay," Sabi niya.
"Ang mahal naman dito," Sabi ko pagka-alis nung waiter. "It's fine, I got you," He said with a wink.
"May pupuntahan pa tayo after this?" I asked, para lang may mapag-usapan.
"We can roam around Tagaytay if you like," He said.
Ano nga ba pwede pag-usapan? Kausapin mo kaya ako, ano?
"Hmm, may alam akong parang garden around the area like 15 minutes ang layo. They have the best Spanish Bread!" I said, para lang may mapag-usapan kami.
"Sige, puntahan natin," Yun lang sagot niya. 'Yon na 'yon, Ricci?
"Sorry nga pala na nakalimutan ko Anniversary natin, it just happened to slip my mind and uhm, alam mo na acads tapos photoshoots and all that. Sorry," I said.
"It's fine. Bawi ka sa next anniversary," He said with a smile.
"We'll also be over by then," I said. Truth hurts, doesn't it?
"Stop being negative, Raffy."
"What? It's the truth anyway," I defended. "Kaya nga sinusubukan natin to make this work. We're really officially together, don't you remember?" He asked me and he took a sip of his wine.
Kailan pa? "Since when?" And then I remembered the night in Antipolo. "Oh yeah, I remember it now. I didn't thought that you were serious," I added.
"Now that you remember, we will try, okay?" He said and I nodded, dumating na rin ang order namin for appetizers.
"Uh, I have a gift for you pala but I left it... so yeah,"
"Kunin ko pagkahatid ko sa'yo. What is it ba?" He asked and took a sip of his wine.
"Secret," I said with a wink and we both laughed.
We ate and talked the whole time, from our childhood to the present. I enjoyed having him to talk about random stuffs.
"Thank you," I said as we were on our way to the car and he opened my door for me. He smiled at me and his face got closer to mine, next thing I know, we were kissing.
I pulled away after ten seconds kasi bigla akong nahiya, ewan ko naman kung bakit. I just smiled at him at sumakay na sa sasakyan.
We decided to just have coffee because we just wanted to chill at tinatamad daw siya mag-drive.
"Soo, do we now have a good memory together?" I asked, he just pulled me closer to him.
"Yes, we have now..." He said with a smile and he placed a kiss on my forehead.
