WAR OF THE REALMS EPISODE III: Uncertainties of a Death

CHAPTER III: THE AWAKENING OF PURE EVIL

After the crowd had erupted with applause and cheering and taken up arms, the hunt for Xolmis had begun in Hell. This time, Lucifer would stop at nothing to see Xolmis' head on a plaque above his throne, signifying that Xolmis would be his deadliest, and proudest, catch.

LUCIFER: I don't want to see any of you back here until there's blood on your blade and Xolmis' head in one of your hands!

Immediately after Lucifer said this, his men went charging with furious speed in every direction like the shrapnel from a grenade exploding.

ADVISOR: In the meantime, Lucifer, what will you do?

LUCIFER: What I should've done before. Prepare the training room.

ADVISOR: As you wish, sire.

A little while later, Lucifer began training for the first time in his life. He trained harder than anyone in Hell could've imagined possible, making sure to break every limit and boundary set before him. As days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months, and months turned into a year, Lucifer never stopped training and testing himself and his own limits until he was approximately ten times stronger than Xolmis was when they last fought.

LUCIFER: At last, I am ready.

ADVISOR: Are you absolutely sure about this, sire?

LUCIFER: Indeed, I am.

ADVISOR: Well then, may none of us stand in your way. Soldiers!

SOLDIERS: Yes, sir!

ADVISOR: Ready yourselves for battle! The second coming of Lucifer shall soon be upon Xolmis as well as the rest of the universe!

The soldiers immediately grabbed their weapons and donned their armor and waited for the most likely outcome that was Xolmis' second arrival into the depths of Hell. For every possible exit from Hell, there were about a thousand soldiers rushing out of it, all ready to either kill Xolmis or die trying. This time, however, Lucifer was leading the charge, and he was hoping against hope itself that he would be the one to finally kill Xolmis.
