Stupid, futile and crazy...
Bat shit fucking crazy, so many things going through your mind.
But not a soul to tell them to...
Out of the 7 or 8 billion people, you had to fall in love with him.
Neglected and alone, you were scared, scared of the abandonment that had already scarred you at a young age. After all, being left on the side of the road with nothing but the clothes on your back at the ripe age of six would do that to a person. Hell, it scared your brother who at the time was eleven. The same thing happened, you would grow attached and they would toss you to the side. Unwanted was something that seemed to be carved into your heart with how many times you were.
Sadness clouding your thoughts, the only thing you could think of was a memory you desperately tried to cling to. The one thing that made you feel wanted. And all it was was a promise and a ring.
____________
Laughter was always found surrounding you like an aura, affecting the way the world was around you. Calming the largest of tantrums, warming the rudest of hearts.
"Come on Tsunski, we don't have much time before I have to leave," a younger version of you called to the small boy falling behind as you ran to escape the incoming separation.
"Get back here plume, or else I'll-I'll kill you!" The boy screamed, obviously not going to go through with his threat seeing as a smile was instead crossing his features.
You didn't remember much about how he looked, only that this smile was rarely seen, and if it was, only around you.
Suddenly, you tumbled to the ground twirling and twisting through the softly damp grasses, laughing all the way. He rushed over to care for you, instead, seeing a soft smile of sadness.
Worry flooded his features, 'were you okay?' the young boy thought before voicing his concerns.
"Yeah, but I have the most horrid feeling that this is the last time we'll see each other," you said with a far-off look.
"Don't think such things dummy," He spoke scared that you were right. " If so, then I want you to take this."
With a push of his hand, a small silver loop was handed to you, you gazed at it curiously.
"I bought it for your birthday, see I got a matching one," he said extending his hand towards you, the band, thicker and more masculine than your petite silver one.
"I love it!" you spoke hugging him.
"H-hey, when we're older I'm gonna be your hero, your number one," He spoke unsure of if he should tell you this or not.
"Oh, but Katsuki your already my number one,"
___________
Jerking up you felt against your head, a cold sweat there. Katsuki, that was his name. Witha dry laugh you looked over to the clock, 4:27, they should be getting out in three minutes.
You jumped into the shower, only after sliding off the silver band, it having been resized many times to fit your growing hand.
You had finally realized who the person who always made you feel wanted, but now it was too late.
You locked your door and started the meticulous task of writing, making sure every character was perfect, finishing it off with Ai shiteru and signing your name quickly you changed into sweats and slid the note under his door. you then ran to the main campus, quickly tearing up the stairs in a rush to get to the roof. Once there you waited for fifteen-thirty- an hour before you heard the soft yelling from below. You then sat on the edge looking down and screamed " Its time for you to be my hero!" and fell, immediately your wings released but you held them wrapped around you, feeling nauseous at the feeling of freefalling from 14 stories high. You expected to feel the ending but you didn't, God must have spare you the pain of death and instead took you from your body. You opened your eyes, seeing red.
But the red was not blood, it was the red of eyes, suddenly you were crashed to a pair of lips.
The ferociousness of him mad you believe you were alive, not dead, but rather saved by your personal number one.
And to think all of this was because of one stupid question about a motorcycle.
