Here is an idea of Louis looks like TwT. Creds to the owner

It was my first day on the new job at the bakery. I woke up, ate some bread, and put on my nicest dress. It was pastel blue and came down at the halfway point between my knee and ankle with some white stockings. I hate this dress, it's way too girly. I brushed my (H/L) (H/C), and put it in two tight French braids.

As I was walking on the way to the bakery, I heard a happy yell behind me. "(N/N)!! How's it going?? Wow, you look so pretty!", Louis yelled running up beside me. "My name is (Y/N). Don't wear it out. And don't say 'I'm pretty', I don't want to wear this dress. I'm on my way to earn an honest living.", I said proudly.
"Where ya working?", A young girl said beside me. I turned and was surprised to see Gabrielle beside me. "That is none of your business.", I said turning to walk away. "Oh c'mon, (N/N) don't be like that!", Louis said sadly. "Leave me alone.", I said turning to stare in eyes before running to work.

"You must be (Y/N) (L/N). Our new worker?", A middle aged tired looking woman asked me. "Yes.. That's me.", I said shyly. "Come inside. I'll show you around.", She said giving me a small smile. I followed her inside, and immediately noticed the smell of sweets. My eyes widened at the large assortment of deserts. "Eating the goods, unless they are given to you is strictly prohibited...", The woman said to me, noticing my admiration and alarmingly skinny figure.

"My name is Lydia Klein. I'll be the one training you.", The woman finally introduced herself. After awhile of her showing me around the shop suddenly some thieves came and stole some bread. "Damn thieves!", Lydia yelled signaling me to help her chase them. "Stop please!", I yelled out of breath. One of the thieves, a boy with dark Raven hair turned to face me briefly. We made brief eye contact before he turned and ran off. "Part of your job will be preventing thieves from stealing goods.", She said to me turning to me with a tired look. "What if I can't prevent them?", I asked curious of what would happen. "That will be your paycheck." Is this bitch serious? I am not my brother's keeper. I can't stop them. Lydia spent the rest of the day teaching me how to bake.

"You will get paid 2 weeks from today.", She said to me giving me a small smile. "Yes ma'am, thank you.", I said, quite proud of myself for keeping my attitude in check through out the day. "Here. Take this.", Lydia said, handing me a basket of bakery goods. My eyes widened at the sight. I can't take this. No way. Not happening. "It's okay. Take it please. Lord knows you need it.", Lydia said to me gesturing to my skinny figure. "Thank you...", I said awkwardly, even though I'm actually thankful for the food.

The whole walk home, I clutched on to my bread for dear life. For all I know, these street urchins are gonna try stealing my food. It's a common thing in the underground. "Hey (N/N)! What's that food you have there?", Louis asked me his eyes admiring the warm sweets. "Just... A welcoming gift...", I said awkwardly. God, why am I being so awkward today. Just tell him off and be done with it. "Can I have some?", He asked sincerely. This is a lot of food. And his group could definitely use it more than me. But also... I am the one earning this food. I deserve it. "Take it!", I blurted out hanging him my sweets. Damn, now I can't back down. His eyes widened at with shock and happiness. "But.. Are you sure? That could feed you for a couple days. That will only be enough for one nice meal for us.", He asked doubting my offer. "Your group needs it more than me. Y'all are feeding more people.", I said quietly. Fuck, I might have just let it slip I'm on my own. "What about your group?", He asked suspiciously. Welp, he caught it. "I'm gonna be honest, I am alone. I don't have a group.", I said not meeting his gaze. Well this is awkward. "Well, why don't you join ours? It would be fun!", He asked happily. "No.", I said blandly. "You shot that idea down quickly. Why not?", He asked. "I have my reasons... Besides. I can't join a group I barely know.", I said. Ha, I have a point. "Will you at least think about it?", He asked getting frustrated with my stubbornness. "Fine, I will THINK about it.", I said sincerely. "Since, you gave us our wonderful meal; it would be only right for you to join us to eat it?", He offered. "Okay.. I will come.", I said happy for the invite.

"Louis! You're home!!", Gabrielle yelled happily when we entered their little home. "And... (Y/N)?", Miguel asked, not looking upset. I nodded in his and Grace's direction."(N/N) over here brought food!", He announced excitedly. He's like a damn kid in a candy shop. "Food?", Grace asked showing slight excitement. But only briefly because then her face went back to it's natural indifferent state. "(N/N), over here got a new fancy job at the bakery at and was gifted a thing of sweets.", He said presently the basket proudly. "She decided to give it to us!", He said wrapping his arm around me. Don't misunderstand him, it wasn't romantically, but friendly. Something I'm not use to feeling. "But, (Y/N), doesn't your group need that food?", Miguel asked me confused. "Also, (N/N) doesn't have a group. She lied. But after my generous offer, she's considering joining our group.", He said. Jeez, don't spare any details, Louis. "Why didn't you tell us you didn't have a group? We don't mind taking in newcomers..", Gabrielle asked me looking at me with those big blue eyes. "I just met y'all, I was being careful.", I shrugged.

And after that we just enjoyed our sweets. We each got a fair portion of the sweets, and ate them all. "(N/N), would you like to stay here tonight?", Louis offered me with a smile. "I don't know.... I should get home and I prepare for work tomorrow....", I said declining his offer. "Will we see ya soon?", He asked giving me a cocky smile. "Don't count on it", I said rudely. He laughed, getting use to my attitude. I turned to walk home, noticing him walking beside me. "What the actual hell are you doing?", I asked him without looking at him. "Walking you home.", He said nonchalantly. "Why exactly are you walking me home?", I asked rolling my eyes. "Because it's the underground, and you're in a cute little dress. And you're a girl. And a short pretty one at that. It's not that I don't think you're capable of protecting yourself. It's that you're alone.", He said giving me an honest answer. "So.... You're saying because I am alone... I can't protect myself.. because I'm a girl?, I asked getting irritated that he didn't think I could handle myself because I am a girl. "No, it's not that you can't protect yourself because you're a girl. I'm saying you could be targeted. Let me ask you something. Do you have a weapon on you or any fighting skills at all?", He asked me cocking an eyebrow. "Well... Not exactly. But I am a fast runner.", I answered getting more irritated as I began seeing his point. "Running won't always work. The fact that you'd be alone would put a Target on you. Then you're a girl, and people tend to kidnap young girls more. Also, you don't have a weapon. I'm not saying you can't protect yourself because you're a girl. I'm proof that people will attack you either way.", He said looking straight ahead. "What happened?", I asked not really caring if I was prying too much. He gestured to his scar on his jaw. "I was mugged. Nothing really fancy about it. I was alone and didn't have anything to protect myself with.", He said making his point. "Here." He said handing me a small knife on a necklace. Wear it under your shirt, and when you're attacked you can take them by surprise.", He said putting it around my neck. "Well I guess we're here..", I said awkwardly once we arrived at my old apartment attic place. "Goodbye (N/N)!", Louis said changing from past solemn self to his normal cheerful happy face. Damn, he changed fast.

As I placed that knife on my floor as I went to sleep, I never would truly realize how important that knife would be to me in the future. And how much it would actually save me.

Yo yo yo. How's it going? I think this is one of my better chapters, but it still sucks. Have a great day or night!
