{Cameron POV} Health is probably my favorite class. Not (just) because I like learning about plant sperm, but I have the two funniest lab partners ever. They're both friends of Kaylee's, which instantly pulls their cool points up tenfold. Cassidy is the smart one, while Lila's got easy comic relief.
Cassidy taps me on the shoulder. "You're going to Miley Keller's party this Friday, right?"
"Yeah."
Lila chimes in. "Did Kaylee ask you yet?"
I stop. "What?"
Cassidy shoots Lila a look. "About... basketball. Obviously. She wants to start doing Saturday nights also, or something."
I nod. "Tell her Saturdays are for Charlotte." I mean, maybe Charlotte would be cool with me moving that day. Maybe.
Lila twirls her hair. "This is like an unemployed person. It just doesn't work."
"What doesn't work?" I ask.
"You're whole shebang with Charlotte. You guys need a romance coordinator." Lila says, tapping her pen on the desk to a nonexistent rhythm.
"I think they're really cute." Cassidy retorts.
I love them, but boy are Lila and Cassidy a real hassle.
Cassidy then starts ranting about her own boyfriend. "It's not an afro, it's just a little bit unruly ."
"Cassidy, when the hair looks like a fluffy cloud, you can't call it 'unruly'."
They turn to me. "You're a boy, classify good hair." Lila says, rolling her eyes.
I make a thinking face, then said, "I think the key to good hair is to go with the flow."
Lila laughs. "Well, Grant's hair is perfect. Especially during hockey season. His length. Wow."
I hear a giggle from Cassidy. "A little TMI there, eh?" She says with a grin.
Lila blushes.  "What, are you jealous?"
I put my pencil in between them, acting like a blockade. "Guys, can we get back to learning about breastmilk?"
Lila laughs as she says, "That's your breast idea yet?"
"Lila, you seem to be milking those jokes a little." Cassidy retorts.
We all burst into tears of laughter. Mr. Hopkins, and several students glare at us. We are laughing way too hard to mind.
