Typical or not

Chapter 2

As soon as I open the door to enter the school my best friend phoebe runs and jumps on my back from behind. Im able to pry her off my back and we both start walking. We greet and exchange a few glances with people on the way to my locker before class starts.

Me and phoebe are making small talk and about to make a sharp turn around a corner to get to my locker when I run into something hard. Or someone I should say. I'm about to fall but the persons arms quickly stretch out and grab mine to steady me. I soon relize that it's the new guy. I have to crane my head up to see his face as his 6'2 structure towers over my 5'3 one. When I look up I notice that he has medium lenghth shaggy brown hair and beautiful crystal blue eyes.

"Hi my names Aaron Sternweigh." says the guy as he holds out his hand. "you are?" He asks. "oh hi umm ya my names Melody Vanhughton." I say nervously as I shake his hand. I look and phoebe and she decided that she needs to get something from her locker. Oh thanks phoebe nice friend you are i think. Not really. Sarcasm is one of my favorite things though." so umm I was wondering if you could show me where Mr. Fergensions chemistry class is?" asks a nervous Aaron." Oh um ya sure that's my next class anyways." i relpy. "okay lead the way." and we then start to make our way down the hall.

When we get to our class, Aaron walked to the front to introduce himself to the teacher. While he's doing that I go and pick my normal seat in the back corner against the wall. I sit by my self because I have no friends in this class. As I start to doodle in my notebook, I feel the seat next to me shift. I look over to see a smirking Aaron. Im about to ignore him when he suddenly whispers "why are we sitting in the back corner?" I reply "were not doing anything and if you must know I have no friends in this class so I sit here by myself everyday." "well you got that wrong cause I'm here and I'm your friend." Aarom says back smiling. Im about to say something back but class starts.

The rest of the day went by in a blur. Before I know it im walking to my car as I hear someone screaming "Mels!" "Mels!" I spin around and see Aaron running towards me. "Hi." he says out of breath. "Hi." I mutter quietly. "well uh I gotta run see ya later neibor." Thats the last thing he says before he walks away.

Neibor. huh. I think. So I was right, we did get new neibors. Well he seems okay. I get in my car and start on my way home. When I get home i park and start walking to my front door when I hear someone yell "Hi ya neibor!" I look over and of course it's him. So I choose to ignore him and I walk in my house and lock the door. I see a note so I know my grandmas not home so I go up to my room. I decide to start my homework so I walk to my desk that's infront of my window and move the curtains so I can see out it. Well let's just say that Aaron's room just so happens to be directly acrossed from mine and he has his desk in front of his window with the curtains to the side. So now me and him are just staring at each other. I feel really awakward but he doesn't seem to mind cause once again he's smirking. So I simply close my curtains and start my homework no longer able to see a smirking Aaron.
