A/N:
Hey, thank you so much for the reads and votes! Really, thank you T T

I'm sorry for this one.

Angst soramafu, probably. The ending is not nice.

"Such a nice building."

Mafu said out once day in a sunny afternoon, when they were hanging out aimlessly to just kill the boredom they had from shutting in too much.

Soraru followed the direction of Mafu's eyes, seeing probably an abandoned building. Its wall was all worn with total eleven floors.

His gaze landed to Mafu then. His blue orbs brimmed with concern.

"What's up with that abandoned building? Hunted?"

Soraru said the last one half jokingly, half-heartedly smiled playfully. But he rather hoped it was the true answer, as stupid as it was to hope so. It was better this ridiculousness was going to be true.

Mafu's spacing out face warmed with the younger creating a smile. The curve was faint.

"No, it's not like that," he answered with light chuckle in his breath, "It's just..."

An obvious thing, Soraru did not like the answer Mafu voiced out after that.

-----

It was in the midnight. Mafu's eyes were fixated to the scenery spread in front of him. The wind blew his long dark night jacket in strong impacts, also so with his white strand.

It was the landscape of night sky from a rooftop he witnessed.

The skies surely look wide, yet the stars could not be visible even in this close range. Obviously. The weather was cloudy after all.

The moon even was not witnessed anywhere. Such a dark night for his town. It was a great atmosphere.

While at the other side, the stomps of Soraru's feet climbing up the stairs echoed loud in silence of midnight. His orbs glistened worryingly. Brows furrowed, he once again checked the message he had send to his partner. He said already at the recipient to not move even an inch, to stay still in they position, which those had been read by the opponent, but he even doubt the younger did open his message in fully conscious state.

He managed to reach the highest floor with shallow breaths in every steps he took. He wasted no time to open the door to the rooftop, yearning not for the worst.

And he sighed in full relief when he saw his partner there, standing at the mid of the rooftop, backing him. The person was not making a movement with dark jacket around the fragile frame blew up by the wind.

Soraru stepped closer. The sound made by his feet was surely loud enough, yet the other party did not realize him.

Soraru reached right their behind then. He tapped the opponent's shoulder lightly, and he found a pair of blue skies turning around to him. The older smiled, wryly.

"What are you doing here alone, Lon? It's midnight."

Lon did not answer. She instead looked at Soraru in bewilderment. Seconds ticked with only the sound of gust before the girl finally managed to open her voice.

"Soraru-san..."

Soraru tried to maintain the curve on his lips, seeing the state of her, "I messaged but you didn't reply me. Don't you realize it?"

Lon gasped out an "ah" before she reached out her pocket. She grabbed her smartphone immediately, but seeing no notifications. The blonde widened her eyes when she found herself had read the elder's messages, yet she did not respond any of them.
