Her lifeless body lay on the bed, her once lively face now sickly pale, the heart monitor beeped now and then but that was it.
Beside her was an equally lifeless body, only that he was conscious. His eyes were dull as he gazed upon the sleeping figure, he wondered if she'll ever be the same. Right now he would give anything so that her eyes could flutter open again , to hear her melodious laughter that once annoyed him to no end.
