The comforting smell of rain enveloped Jeongguk as he laid in his boyfriend's arms. Dewy grass, still wet from the previous downfall, tickled his bare legs and he played with it between his toes.
"My footsies are cold," Jeongguk giggled. They had been resting peacefully on the grass outside for the past two hours since the sun had set.
The villa they were staying at was in the middle of nowhere, secluded from the city lights. Taehyung had offered to finance the trip with his money from his office job, but Jeongguk insisted that since he earned more, he should pay. Taehyung's paycheck was far lower than Jeongguk's, yet he always treated his boyfriend and tried to pay for everything. This time, however, Jeongguk managed to pay for every last thing.
"Then put some sockies on, baby," Taehyung said as he snuggled his nose into the crook of his lover's neck.
"But I'm comfortable," Jeongguk whined and continued staring at the night sky.
The glittering stars that decorated the dark sky reminded Jeongguk of his relationship. The darkness was dull and arid, scary for some. Then, bright stars came and lit it up, making it one the most beautiful sights and causing smiles upon other people's faces. Thanks to Taehyung, Jeongguk managed to find happiness again, the fear and blackness leaving his heart to only be filled with love. After meeting Taehyung, he started his singing career for a second time, this round being a lot more successful and achieving his dream, also making his fans happy in the process. All thanks to a silver-haired boy with an infectious smile.
