With the world destroyed due to a extreme world war, nothing but one city remains, called Sector 0, located near what used to be St. Louis, Missouri. Adults take on the advanced jobs - Science, programming, leadership. The teens take on the jobs that are unwanted - Childcare, garbage. Children are separated from the adults at birth, the older children and teens taking care of the babies and younger children. Separated into districts, the youth district and adult district, no one is allowed beyond the wall, and adults are not allowed to interact with the children.
