The moon was high in the sky,but it's illuminating light was masked by the dark gray lingering clouds filling the sky. Many people pass by me rushing to get to their dry destination while i stay put watching the scene in front of me,as the rain falls around me.I could feel tears forming in my eyes and feel my heart start to crack and shatter. I watch as Amber and Kai kiss under a small shop awning on the other side of the street from were I stood. They seem to not notice me,and I hope they don't. At this moment in time I can feel so many emotions inside me at once,like heart break, anger, and all around miserable.I know I should feel happy for kai,but instead I sadness and negative emotion.Why do I have to feel miserable like this and not just happy for him.I can't bear to watch any more so i turn my head to look at the gray gloomy ground for a moment before I turned my gaze back to kai and Amber.As I shifted my gaze back in kai's direction I found kai looking in my direction.My breath become uneven as we met each others gaze, he had a look of shock,concern,and pain on his face.I couldn't take it any more I turned on my heels and bolted down the street opposite from kai. As I ran down the cold,wet,gray street I could here Kai call my name.I didn't turn around I just kept on running trying to as far away as possible.I slowed my pace a little after running a far distance to catch my breath,but as soon as i did I heard a voice calling my name not just any voice his voice.I i pick up my pace again trying to get away from him. This game of cat and mouse we were playing has gone on for about 10 minutes now and I couldn't keep up my pace for much longer,I hear Kai call my name again.I slow my pace knowing that i can't run forever,so as I came to a complete stop catching my breath,I turned around coming face to face with an out of breath kai. I look into his mid autumn Amber eyes with my plain brown ones as the rain continued to fall around us showing no signs of letting up anytime soon.
