Third Person POV

Percy Jackson was exhausted, he knew it, and they knew it. He just wanted a single year, one SINGLE year to be normal. But one of his ancestors must have done something to make the Fates REALLY mad, because they were determined to make his life suck.

It didn't matter that he'd already helped save the world-TWICE! It didn't matter that he'd literally gone through TARTARUS and come back! Nope. The only thing that mattered was that they needed a hero, and he was their victim.

As the demigods looked around the campfire, worry etched on every campers face, they thought about how they were going to break the news to Percy. Tartarus had changed Percy and Annabeth, that was a fact. Their eyes held a brokenness to them that had never been their before, like they'd seen horrors too terrible to be described. Their laughs were more forced, their smiles were smaller, and rarer. They never left each others' side except to use the restroom or shower, and even then it was only for a few minutes at most.

At night, their haunted screams could be heard throughout the camp, only stopping when they were safe in the other's arms. They'd taken to sleeping together, Annabeth pulled tight into Percy's embrace, each of them ready at a moments notice to comfort the other. Not even Mr. D protested the clear violation of camp protocol, this was a very special case.

Will had diagnosed them with a severe case of PTSD, the result of years of near-death experiences and war. But they had begun to heal. 4 months of undisturbed peace and the unexpected return of Leo had let them begin to drop their barriers. They'd started climbing out of their shells, the life and happiness had begun to creep into their eyes again. Percy had even ventured to visit his mom for an hour without Annabeth.

And then she had gone missing. The campers had been frantic with worry, Percy would be crushed if he found out his Wise Girl was gone. But he was back, and he needed to know what happened. So they told him...everything. They told him about racing the pegasus, about how Annabeth had wandered, as if in a trance, into the woods, about the blackness that had overcome the camp before she disappeared.

And then he snapped. He sunk to the ground and wept. His racking sobs causing his whole body to shake as he wept for his lost love. He couldn't do this without her, he would go insane, he needed her. She was his all, his life. He felt like he was drowning in a grief, a desperation so deep, his heart aching from the pain of her loss.

When he finally brought his eyes to meet those of his fellow demigods, they saw just how absolutely shattered he was. And in that second they resolved to fight for him, to their last dying breath. To stand by him, even as the world fell around them. He had earned their unfailing loyalty, and he had their full support. Never would they question him, never would they hesitate to follow him into battle, because he was Percy Jackson, Hero and Champion of Olympus, and he was their friend, their leader.

His sea-green eyes met Rachel's brown ones and she stood up abruptly. Green mist enveloped her as she opened her mouth, the campers leaning forward expectantly.

12 Grimmauld Place

Evil's heir alone make haste

Serious's godson help

2 war veteran, brain of kelp

Only the one with the blood of both races

Can do what must be done

And rescue the love of the sea's son

As soon as Rachel finished, she fell backward only to be caught by the well trained Apollo kids. They laid her expertly on the grass and then Percy spoke up.

"I'm going." It wasn't a question, and nobody questioned it. The prophecy was obviously meant for him-sea's son, 2 war veteran, brain of kelp-no one doubted it. Chiron was about to speak, when two beings flashed into their presence.

Hecate and...Aphrodite? The campers bowed respectfully at the goddesses as Hecate approached Percy. "Percy Jackson, you are a hero among heroes. Zeus has granted you safe passage in his realm, if only for the flight to London. I also am giving you my blessing. While magic will still take a lot of effort to learn, you will be able to preform it with half the practice of a normal wizard. But be forewarned, the wizards no naught of this world, do not venture to reveal yourself to them unless it is deemed absolutely necessary or the consequences could be dire."

She stepped back and Aphrodite stepped forward. "Percy Jackson, let it be known that whoever makes an enemy of Perseus Jackson," He flinched when she said his real name, "That person also makes an enemy of me. When you are in need, whatever you ask, so long as it is within my abilities, I shall grant it." She turned and began to glow and the campers averted their eyes, not wanting to get burned to a crisp. A second later, the two goddesses were gone, leaving silence in their wake.

It was Chiron who finally broke the silence. "Percy, my boy, you shall leave at first light. You have a flight taking you to London, from there, it is up to you to find out where to go. I am sorry I can not do more to help. Pack up, get a good night's rest if you can, and good luck. May the gods be with you."

With that, Percy walked away, leaving the whole camp with a sudden feeling of doom that something very, VERY bad was coming.

Aphrodite's POV

*Betcha weren't expecting that now were you?

I sighed as I looked at the boy sitting in his bed, unable to rest. Dear Percy, so young and yet already the Savior of Olympus two times in a row. I knew that he still had much to come before he was able to rest, but I was determined to help him. After all, Percabeth was the cutest couple since Helen and Troy, maybe even cuter. I mean, the boy fell into TARTARUS for her! They were adorable, and I was going to kill whatever idiot had decided to get in the way of my favorite couple. Watch out, because you have no idea what is coming for you.

This is my first fanfiction made completely for my own fun. Please enjoy and do not hesitate to provide ideas, advice, and constructive criticism. I welcome it all, though I do have a pretty good idea of how I plan on writing this story.

This takes place after the Heroes of Olympus and Deathly Hollows (the latter of which I have not actually read), but before Trials of Apollo.

Thank you!

PS. I am not Rick Riordan or J. K. Rowling (sadly) the plot is all...

Leo: MINE!!!

Me: LEO!! Get. Back. Here. Right. NOW!

Leo: Uhhh, NOPE. *Runs away*

Me: Annabeth, that's your cue

Annabeth: Mwahahaha...*rubs hands together, smirking evilly*

Leo: Ahhhhhhhhhhhh! Help me!

Percy: No way dude, you got yourself into that one.

Leo: Whatever happened to pals before gals?

Percy: Annabeth happened.

Annabeth: *catches Leo, judo flips him, then again, then again because she could and it was fun*

Leo: Owww...
