Hey Guys! I tried to twist it up a bit in the oncoming chapters! Please COMMENT, VOTE, and FAN :D
The next morning I opened my eyes to find that I was in fact in the infirmary, with a huge headache. One of the nurses saw me and rushed over to my bed. I couldn't help but remember their conversation last night; I wasn't sure how much I should trust these ladies. "How are you doin' darlin'?" she asked in a charming southern accent.
"Much better, thank you." I responded quiet, and politely.
"Good to hear. It's a shame you missed your first day after that fall! When you ran out those doors the sprinklers left the side walk slippery and you fell right down and hit your head! Poor girl."
Oh crap. I did miss my first day after all didn't I. Just great, now I am even more of a freak. I also know that that is not the way my fall had happened, but I won't be the one to correct her. "Yes. Thank you."
"Do you feel well enough to attend to your class's today hon'?"
"Oh yes. I am just fine. But I do have one question. There are so many uniforms in my closet? Which ones do I wear?"
That caused her to smile and give a little giggle. "Oh, of course! We should've had someone tell you all of this!" No kidding? "If you take a close look at your hangers you will see they have a day written on them. Today is Thursday so you just find the hanger that says Thursday and you are set!" Wow, I had never heard of a school doing that but it was creative.
"Thank you for everything Mrs...."
"Mrs. Bondenworth darlin'. Don't worry it's my job to help!"
I followed the hallway down to the elevators and pressed in the number nine.
When I was to my room I took a look in the full length mirror. My eyes glowed a very bright turquoise color. How am I supposed to hide this?! I pull out my big, celebrity sunglasses hoping to cover it up for now. I walked into my closet that I have grown to love and picked out the Thursday outfit. It consisted of a short, black skirt, a white, ¾ sleeved, collared shirt, a tight, black school girl vest, and to complete the look a small, red tie. I have to say, I love these uniforms. I straightened my hair making it look a few inches longer and decided to go for a whole new and confident look. It felt right to start new and change up my attitude and to do that I would need to change my look. Lets show them who's boss and who won't be being bullied any longer. I cut shorter layers into my hair, and cut my bangs making them a part of my hair. I made them sweep across my forehead. Completely perfect. I think I'm starting to look Brentwood worthy! I applied some very pink, girly lip gloss to strengthen my new image.
I wasn't looking forward to going to Meeting after the last time, but today I am a whole new person. I am confident, sexy, and Brentwood worthy, Alison Montgomery. I walked out the door feeling completely hot, and looking it too. When I got to the ballroom I saw guys tapping their friends on the shoulders. "Hey look. Is that the new girl? Totally hot." "Dude. Check her out." I heard very similar comments as I walked down the isle, treating it like a runway.
I walked right up to Miss Crabby and let her have a piece of me. "Excuse me, Gabby?"
"Are you talking to me?"
"You bet. Next time you pull something like that, I'd watch out Honey. Leave me alone and I'll do the same."
She looks at her posse as if she couldn't believe I was even talking to her. "Look Honey. You're new here and I know you don't know any better, so I'll let this go. Don't let it happen again." She said and laughed like I was a child.
"Oh no don't let it go, use it for future references. And trust me, if need be it will happen again." I turned on my new red heels and strutted away.
All the guys smiled in awe and all the girls that I'm sure have been dying to stand up to Gabby stared at me wide eyed. I just smiled and let them stare.
I felt someone grab my waist from behind and whisper in my ear, "I can't believe you just did that, but I'm glad you did. And I like the new look. Apparently so do all the other guys." He turned my head so that I could see all the guys making comments, making his point.
I looked up so that my face was right beneath his. "Oh you have no idea." I said, faking a sexy voice and winked. That earned me the laugh I was looking for.
"I also like this new attitude. Feisty."
"Why thank you." I said and started walking toward the circle where I felt so secluded yesterday. Today I was invited in with open arms. Today is a good day and no one will stand in my way.
