they reach the restaurant after what seemed like a long ride.
a worker greeted them and asked if they had a reservation. they all looked at each other but namjoon answered.
"yes we do. it's under kim seokjin. the party of eight?"
the worker smiles, "ah yes. please follow me."
the worker takes some menus and leads us to a big table in the corner. jimin insists on sitting next to y/n. taehyung sits in the corner.
jimin pushes y/n to the seat right next to him. she tries to withstand him but fails.
taehyung only stares at his phone. y/n gives jimin a death glare and all he does is smile.
after a while they, which was basically seokjin, order a bunch of appetizers.
taehyung sips his glass of wine and stays quiet throughout the conversation. "tae? why the fuck are you so quiet?" namjoon asks. "i don't wanna talk about it." jungkook stares at him with his big doe eyes. "please tell me," jungkook pleads. taehyung shakes his head.
when they all finish eating and their meals actually come. y/n get up, grabs taehyung's wrist and pulls him outside.
"why are you like this. all quiet and shit?" he stares at the ground. "this is not the taehyung i met on the street. what happened?"
"are you like this cause you have a crush on me and you're having trouble with your girlfriend. is that it? or are you embarrassed cause you were drunk and came to my house? i know we haven't known each other for long but i know you aren't like this all the time. namjoon told me abo-" y/n is cut off from taehyung, who placed his hand over her mouth.
"y/n i was dumped. and i guess i'm mad at myself."
y/n sighs, "i'm sorry i didn't open the door earlier."
at that moment, taehyung looked at her. he grabs her arm and pulls her in for a hug. there's a comfortable silence between them.
taehyung lowers his head to her ear and whispers, "i don't have a crush on you."
they depart and y/n punches his arm. "ya sure. then why you text "namjoon" saying you want me." she laughs.
"i was drunk. i didn't know what i was saying!" he tries to defend himself.
"mhm," y/n says laughing.
they walk back into the restaurant, laughing. as soon as the boys see then they all smile. jimin's smile was the biggest one of all.
